Miami secured another four-star commitment, as OT Ben Congdon announced his decision to join the Hurricanes. He spoke with CanesInSight about his decision:

"I want to be a leader, and I want to prove Miami football is an elite and true competitor," Congdon said. "Also, they have two of the best coaches [Cristobal and Mirabal] to develop my game under."

The four-star offensive lineman and folk-style wrestler, who dominates opponents like Andre The Giant, told CanesInSight in January that he and Miami's coaches "have an amazing relationship."

The 6-foot-7, 285-pounder ranks as the No. 29 offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 15 prospect from Ohio. Congdon said the Canes are getting a competitor:

"My strengths are my length and my feet, along with what Midwest OLs are known for, just playing ****ed-off football."

He becomes the fourth player in the 2026 recruiting class, joining LB Jordan Campbell, QB Dereon Coleman, and DB Camdin Portis.

Seems like Mario and Mirabal share a philosophy with the Eagles when it comes to building the OL....just get a bunch of huge tackle-types and maul the other team.

Please let this kid know to ignore any communication from @JG13 to see if he wants to folk style wrestle after a few ****tails.

Huge pickup, literally and figuratively! Welcome to the U

I don't need to see anything more than play #1 on his highlights. Love me a lineman that plays angry and with a grudge. That **** is demoralizing for a defense. I'll take 5 lineman who just wanna take your lunch
He plays about an hour south of where I'm from/live. The comp down there is horrendous, I doubt that he'll face another P4 caliber player down there unless they make it deep into the state playoffs in November. With that being true, I love his upside and I love his attitude and overall temperament (on paper). Kids with a background in wrestling are almost always tough as **** and hard workers...Spartan'esque. This boy doesn't just want your lunch, he might take your girlfriend's dad's dinner too.

Saw this guy at the game. He's built like a Viking. Is he an EE?

I assume this guy is a pure tackle at the next level?
