I'm sure he is. Still an indictment on him. It's his **** job to make sure they know their assignments.
Its practice. That is why they practice. And rep things many times, Practice is how he does his **** job to make sure they know their assignments in a game. And its spring practice #3 at that, lol..

I know Blake has no slack right now so I get everything he says will be under microscope, but guarantee you any coach in america you respect uses practice same way, lol.

The last time Steed was really healthy. Was his soph season in high school.

You have to really appreciate Shaq because had he not been the man he was. We would've been in major **** had he ever got hurt. We've had some really bad luck finding guys at this position that can stay healthy.

I don’t believe in this kind of luck. Luck is betting on 16 on the roulette wheel and winning. It’s not bad luck if you keep betting on 16 over and over again and losing. I get the desire to stick by injured players when you believe in them, but you have to spread your risk somewhat. The issue we have at this position as far as injuries and the lack of depth and experience we now face is a position that we have put ourselves in due to the choices we have made.

That said, we are fortunate to have had Shaq for the last four years. His durability and reliability are rare.

It’s pretty clear that the LB play and depth will be an issue , how big of an issue remains to be seen

but I wouldn’t jump to say that we’ll have a bad D because of it . We still have a vet in McCloud there to ease the blow, don’t forget who we have at DE , at DT and CB we have solid starters and up and coming back ups, Hall Bolden an Carter at S

I don’t see a bad defense because of the LB situation but we will have some struggles with heavy passing teams

McCloud is not good. The LB corpse overall is scary bad and the injuries haven't even started mounting up yet.

If this defense stays healthy there is no way it will be bad.
Lol. Oh yeah, well wait until you see what Baker has planned with his three down lineman 3rd down package this year. Last year he put his best edge rusher ar nose tackle, I heard this year he's putting his best safeties at nose tackle.

This place is a perfect example of social media.

Find a negative, exaggerate the **** out of it until it's an existential crisis.

Find a positive, hype it up to expectations it can't possibly reach.

Try and educate yourself just for a second before regurging idiotic, baseless nonsense.

Take a look at these FSU highlights. He got all four sacks that game while lined up inside.

What is a Hurricane, a player too small (Marley, Conley) or no stars (Ray Lewis) and yes, a walkon (Murphy). So why not Ragone who had to walkon but has something to prove, an underdog. Bet he gets scholarship before he finishes at the U.

Ragone highlights

Jesus, you all look for anything to fly off the handle and act like little ******* about.

have they practiced how to defend a 4th and 17 vs a tempo team? I am not sure the defense was wrong on that play. I think we were running Cv2 or Cv3. Hall rotated late.

Or a fake punt vs tempo? You think Ivey who had gunner responsibility was coached to do that? He just froze.

We always make things so difficult. The Big Ragu probably knows the defense inside and out. But so does Manure. That doesn’t mean either guy should be on the field trying to stop opponents who are way too fast for them.

Get Huff on the fcking field and stop with this nonsense.

If this offense starts to get the best of the opposing teams how man "fake" will be called to try to slow it down?

How/why is Bubba a leader? Nothing against the kid, but I'm tired of the argument that those who came before are somehow sage.

We have a ****load of players who have proven nothing. A TON of players. That may have been because of their efforts, it may have been about scheme, it may have been about a head or position coach, but they all need to shut the **** up until they actually do something.
Just thinking he will end up becoming a leader on defense from his FS spot. I too believe we have a lot of green players but we also have some that are stepping up into leadership type roles. Does that mean we suddenly are an elite defense because? No. But I like the chances that multiple players on that side of the ball will match what they see and hear on the offensive end, and step up in kind too.

Thats nog the issue. The issue is having your best edge rusher covering the flats....something he really liked to do last year

the good thing about this offense, they are going to hand Baker his but on a platter. The offense is moving so fast, Blake doesn't have time to dial up one of his intricate packages, or substitute as much, which is probably a good thing. How many times in the last couple of years where we walking around or getting caught substituting when the other team was ready to go : Baker may actually have to stay basic, and run a sound fundamental defense :
