I'm not a Golden guy in the sense that he can do no wrong. But, you hit the nail on the head here. This was a really big indicator for this staff. And, yes, the kid is in our backyard. That's the ******* point. We've consistently lost these over the past decade.
We obviously played hard to get with him. I was waiting for him to say "Miami stopped recruiting me, and like a hot chick in a bar, I became interested"
Dude only wanted players from Miami North Entitlement.
Its the in thing to do to bash the previous coaches, but I can confidently say that we would have never ever landed Howard under either of those guys, especially Shannon.
