@ Pitt in late November will be a tough game presumably due to the cold. As usual, our bye week is way too early.

Other than that, great schedule.

We have two bye weeks.

Looked at Miami's 2013 schedule & couldn't find game vs. "NCAA." Must be deciding if it's home or away

if we can beat UF we will have a **** of a storm of momentum and confidence going into the FSU/Va Tech stretch. a young team with great talent and confidence can definitely over achieve and come out undefeated.

I like the schedule. Miami doesnt have to go an back to back road games, is what I really like.

Some notes:

We only play 3 games outside of Florida and none until game 6

8 days before UF

14 days between Florida and Sav St

12 days between GT and UNC

9 days between UNC and Wake

6 days between UVA and a road game at PITT

Friday night games vs. FAU and PITT

FSU as late in the year as I can remember in a while

As released last month, VT will be a home game for the 2nd year in a row, splitting us FSU and VT home/away

FAU, UF, Savannah as OOC games.

Its a pretty favorable schedule. Not a lightweight schedule with @ FSU and UF OOC, but you can't complain.

yep, that Fla game will be a true early measuring stick for Golden and this team. Florida is still ahead of us on overall talent, but there isn't any reason that we shouldn't be able to play with them and hopefully beat them in our own building, if Golden has these boys ready.

Some other notes in the ACC...

SYRACUSE and PITT join ACC schedule of course.

FSU and Pitt play Labor Day.

FSU OOC: NEV, BETHUNE, IDAHO, @UF

VT opens against Alabama in Atlanta.

UNC opens @ USCe

I hate that.

Clemson's got Georgia in Week 1. That should be a shootout. Georgia is losing basically their whole Starting defense to the league.

This is the schedule where once every several years, there is an extra week in the college football season, hence the 2 bye weeks. UF specifically scheduled the 2008 and 2013 UM games to fall in those years, so that they could have an extra bye in their schedule those years where they are actually playing a good non-conference opponent.

Extra day to prepare for ACCCG

FSU plays NCST week before Miami

Out of 14 ACC teams 5 have Sept 14th off. and 3 more have Sept 7th off. Weird.

Say we do beat UF and FSU and are 11-0 heading to a struggling Pitt team looking to play upset, it would be a like a BCS game for them, we come off a game with UVA team that probably took us to the brink...on only 6 days rest. Can you say UTOUGH!!!
