You called it with your first post - he's a Cane. Golden is not a dummy. Denver's Pop probably spoke to Golden via telephone and assured him the game is over and Denver is definitely going to be a Miami Hurricane. Meeting with the staff is just a way of saving face for both sides (we clearly look like we're concerned about Denver, which we are, and it sends the right message to the south Florida community - Kirkland gets to have his signing day drama - sort of). Coach Golden was probably out hustling up the rest of our class, so he could not be at the meeting, but he might have called in to it. Guessing Coach Kehoe and Coach Barrow probably were the point people. Whatever happened I hope after all is said and done the truth will come out. I bet you're not that far off.
Harris got exposed. 5 minutes of that interview with Joe Doze was all I needed to figure that guy out.

I cannot imagine him picking UM. I cannot imagine Golden thinking he's going to pick us. I think this is just a PR thing on both halves. Just trying to make all of the bad press go away. Imagine the **** dude would take if he ended up picking UM. It wouldn't last long, but there would probably be a good month that his friends would be dogging him, lol.

Terrific. There's two jackazzes that Golden and staff have to "work things out with". What about the other has been wannabe that sticks his two cents in UM business every chance he gets?

Probably because the head coach can have limited contact with recruits? That's what I infer from that.
Are you implying about the whole Golden already had an official visit with him so he couldn't have another?
If that's what your saying.....you're wrong. Ace64 even commented on it on the Scout boards that by NCAA rule if the player comes ON campus it doesn't count as an official visit and Golden could meet with him again if he wanted to.
