When I saw them next to each other on the sideline they looked the same height to me.

I expect Darling will do a damned good job, or at least as good as can be expect on The Kracken. I'm still floored that there are guys like Ingram and Ferby at these big programs that seem to be slipping through the cracks.

A kid like Ingram I would take and try to make a DT...if not, maybe center. Either way he'd make the team better in practice. Ferby is just a big physical guy that you try at running back (who doesn't like a big bruiser, and we need to replace Hagens) and if it doesn't work out try him as an edge rusher. Both have the right mentality on the field. This is of course all without knowing about their grades.

There is film out there of Chad dominating Darling at the Opening. Pushed him back on top of the tackling dummy just like every other OL he faced. The dude is nearly unblockable by anyone at the HS level.

Per Chris Nee from Noles247 on Chad Thomas:

-Says Thomas may visit FSU for the Miami game
-Says Thomas is very firm to Miami
-Says Thomas is extremely comfortable with his Miami commitment
-Says Thomas was very good from start to finish tonight
-Says Thomas has improved on his consistency the past year

I'm watching the game now. These Georgia kids look scared as ****. Their body language...

The speed at Booker T. is just foolish. It sounds like shots are being fired when they're tackling. *pop pop pop*

Norcross is clearly not as good this year as a lot expected. I guess 3 tries for BTW against a ga team was the magic number.

Don't think I've ever seen a punt where 4 guys could block the punt.

I was at the game! #99 Thomas is a BEAST! Can't wait to see him after a couple of years in a structured weight lifting and nutrition program. Kid was unblockable.
Booker T's team speed overwhelmed Norcross early and often. Them BTW boys were hitting people like Norcross had cussed they mamma's out! Harris is a really good athlete, had a GREAT game (NICE touch on his deep passes), but if he has his mind on being a QB @ F$U, he got another thing coming. Kid can play slot or db there, right now. As a QB, he will redshirt, and afterwards they will break their promise and move him. Bethel had about 3 passes thrown at him. I can't remember any of Norcross WR catching any. Herndon did blow by him once, but pass was overthrown. Herndon has good wheels.
Last thing, Norcross Def. Coord. was AWFUL tonight. and when he did adjust, it was way late. If Norcross played BTW ten times, BTW would win all 10. There's NO denying that. But if the Norcross DC had a **** clue, it wouldn't have been that bad. Straight man to man vs. BTW?, stupid with all that BTW speed. No safety help. On numerous occasions, dumbass had both safety's near the line (cover 0 look). Now there is NOWAY they can help over the top. They gets torched! His second half adjustments, was to only go cover zero when BTW gets to the 30. Now when the slot WR runs a 5 yd. out route and the outside WR runs a 15 yd. post or any "in" route, the middle of the field is wide freakin open cause the **** safety's are at LB depth! When they went zone in the 3rd qtr. Harris was killing them in the flats. At least that was a slower death. And as soon as BTW got to the 30? u guessed it, man to man. Awesome *** KICCIN! I just felt kinda bad for the kids playing for Norcross. They were outplayed and they were GROSSLY OUTCOACHED!!!

Two things.. what was the final?

Also how did Walton look? I watched the beginning of the game and saw another RB starting

You sound like a huge f@ggot.

"I was wrong" would have sufficed.

Wonder how much we will see Darling vs. Chad?

I like Darling but Chad looks unstoppable. Kid really looks like he could be the number 1 player in the nation. Chad won the MVP at The Open with about three 5 star players attending, Played NT and pushed the center into the QB's lap, and it would be hard to find any weakness in his game. My be Miami's best defense recruit since our champion ship team.

And, not even close to his physical peak.

This right here. Its all I could think about watching the game last night. Imagine what Thomas will do when he has a year of D1 Strength and Conditioning. Same with Demetrius.

Carter looked the part of a 5 star DE. Thomas played it.

At this point I'm hoping Rozier gets an offer from Bama or AU and bolts so that we can offer this kid.

I'm with you on that one. This is one of those head scratchers to me. Rozier doesn't look like a can't miss prospect to me so why not take the local hero? Maybe Treon wants to go to fsu and not UM. Who knows? But he looked **** smoove last night.

Bottom line is he's a football player and guys like him help you win games regardless of which position he winds up at.

I saw it said by someone else in a thread on the wEz, but if we're going to lie to a kid about playing QB, let it be Flowers.

It's not lying if they give him a legit shot to compete. There is nothing to lose

The problem with that line of thinking is one man's idea of a legit shot to compete (the Don's) might wind up being the polar opposite of another man's (Treon and Lice). Then you wind up with another giant mess on your hands. "Legit shot" is very subjective and open to wildly divergent interpretations.

I am enjoying listen to the recruiting genius defending his rating of Lorenzo Carter. Why can't he just say that he might have whiffed and that it's not an exact science, and there are some pretty good players he's never seen?

Recruiting gurus just don't have that gene. They feel like they'll lose their magical luster in the eyes of the rubes that eat from their hands like baby goats at a petting zoo if they admit it's not an exact science.

Can't wait for this. Chad is complete beast who has dominated everyone all summer. Darling will be good test for him. We have both so can't lose. If Darling does well, that is great because nobody else has and Chad will only have play against him in practice. Perfect game would be Chad throws Darling on qb one plan; Darling pancakes Chad the next!!!! Gotta love Jackson's first game too. Dline looking good.

I feel as if this tweet was appropriate for yesterday.
