Brother, you’re not new here. Since the portal opened D$ has been adamant for us to be patient until after the semi-final game. And as soon as the game ended, Miami all of a sudden has a history of recruits lined up including a QB who bypassed three other teams in need of a QB. On yesterday’s podcast, Pete alluded to Leavitt. Today we get Leavitt on campus although Lane tried to swoop in. And now D$ makes a post concerning Leavitt alone.

This would be the Will Howard and Cam situation where I think Simpson is better, but this time you get the other guy locked up we have a better all around team.

Personally, I'd prefer Ty Simpson.
But I'd rather have Leavitt NOW than wait and risk Simpson staying in the draft.

I would hope/think Leavitt would take less to come play here with the OL we have vs going to LSU for his last year during a rebuild.
What’s done is done. Only time will tell and it doesn’t affect us now.

It basically was Yearby and Cook imo, but cook is home cooking I wouldn’t take that trader anyway
D$ certainly has great info, but kids get flaky in the NIL era. All it takes is one desperate team to make a ridiculous counter offer.

Leavitt was my number 1 option last year too. Love the kids game. This year, the injury worried me a bit. But man, if hes healthy. Offense will be so much fun
Yes I guess I meant he was asking for $4mil and we agreed to it. Maybe LSU offers more he still sticks with what he had previously asked for because he'd prefer to be at Miami.
