I don’t think you’re being too homerish. In fact, I’ve been saying much of the same since the betting line and some of these one-sided predictions came out. I simply don’t see it. I have watched almost every snap of every CFP opponent we’ve played.

I’ve already watched every snap of 5 Indiana games. People looking at statistics are lost in the sauce. Those statistics were not achieved in *this* matchup.

For as much as I dislike playing a coin-flip game against SMU by grinding it out, I think our ability to do that is exactly what makes us difficult for OSU and Indiana. I sincerely was uncertain where we were going to get enough yards against OSU. I don’t see that same limitation against Indiana.

You laid it out pretty well with the vertical aspect of duo, but I think they’re also susceptible to counters and runs where we use jet sweep as a decoy.

They play 3 LBs an awful lot of their snaps, and while their #4 player is very good, I think the other two have limitations. Their fans seemingly talk a big game about lining up and smashing with us. I just don’t see it.

I will ask we place their safeties in some conflicts. They have one safety who just cannot run with some of our guys. I know we need that TE or Y to seal the block for duo, but I’d like to see some 4WR for spurts, too.

After what we have put on tape, I think we’re being objectively underestimated.

I hear you and you're not off base.

However, this IU team is as complete as you are going to find in the game today, and the team cohesion and discipline is off the charts.

Plus, they have the one thing you can't scheme against: a QB that can make the "perfect" throw.

My take. We're the second best team in the country. Hands down.

The problem is that we will be playing the best team in the country. They win. 🤷‍♂️ (unfortunately).

Do they win big? (+10-14 or so)? Probably not, but it's definitely possible.
