Originally from Miami Gardens and played for the Purple Machine under Rod Mack (same program that produced Jeremiah Smith and others).

His OC in high school is Greg Olsen.



Rule ran for 1,236 yards and 15 touchdowns last season. He also averaged 9.2 yards per carry.

The highlights that are against solid comp are Providence Day and Independence....basically all the games they lost. Charlotte Christian consistently puts out high quality athletes regardless of sport eg Steph Curry, so don't write him offf just yet.

As of right now we got Lyle (best back on our team) and then everyone else. In fact, I hope we take a good portal rb.

 

RB recruiting has been one of the more bizarre trends for us under Mario. Committed to running the ball. Usually a good to great O-line. Multi back rotation.

Zero reason we should be settling at that position. You have your top targets, both of whom have shown legitimate interest. If we can't close on them this year then when?

To be clear I like Fletcher, Lyle & Pringle. Just feels like a coach like Mario should be able to have his pick of the litter at RB & outside of Pringle, I don't think the rest of our RB recruits have been option number 1.

Wasn't Kevin Riley our top target that cycle? He went to Bama & we pivoted to Lyle? All these years run together so if I'm remembering that wrong I'm wrong.

 

We definitely need to stay on this kid. Anyone counting Cooper as a Cane already is in for some highs and lows.

Yep. And assuming that Cooper and Mallory are 1 and 2, every other RB we recruit is a fall back if we miss on one or both of them. No chance we take more than 2, and many years we will probably only bring in 1 RB. No school is going to keep a lot of 4th string RB’s on their roster. Maybe a true freshman who plays special teams will accept being 4th string, but no one else.

I think it sounds like they expected Ajay Allen or Chris Johnson Jr to stay when they were deciding on just 1 Rb in last class.

With new Scholarship limits, we should literally ALWAYS sign 2 Rbs out of HS. Its going to be a high churn position, because it's REALLY in the players best interest to get playing time wherever they can by year 2. So if you're not in line to receive a lot of snaps, yeah they should probably leave.
