Maybe Ice actually cares for the kids athletic future more than his job or the job of the man for whom he works? Maybe he isn't making a hard sell because deep down he knows it would be doing them an injustice to come and play for a loser?

A position of need and we dump him. This is after we took 4 commits in the first.. How do you dump a top 5 guy at worst at his position in the state at a position of need? Its not like we were cleaning up everywhere and had no room for him…..
Though we have a ton of talent at wr, it is underdeveloped and underutilized. I think the 2015 class of WR's like Chatman and Callaway are seeing this and its turning them off. Dorsett was unstoppable at the combines, and for moments was unstoppable in games during the year but he was sorely underused in many games. Coley was a beast in his first year though he started off slow. He starts off slow this year (with last year as an example) and the coaches go away from him and let him struggle. Herb where you at bro? Don't even need to go there. Even our 1000 yrd wr from two years ago, Allen Hurnes who is balling out in the pros didn't get drafted so that is more a testament to his inner strength. I think Chatman is being sold on how our offense dulled out in in quite a few games (ran the ball) and wr's disappeared. Plus we have a lot of WR's that either redshirted and or taking up space. TCU offense is explosive and their QB gets the ball all over the place. LSU QB's can't throw the ball for **** but the 5 catches they get a year gets them drafted ala Beckham. I believe that's what TCU and LSU are putting in his ear. Kaaya and the wr's gotta ball out this year and we will reap the benefits on offense. Same is true for TH3, Burns and Carter, our highly touted DB's. Ball out and DB's will see us as an option.

The rub lies in whether or not we desperately wanted davis and Calloway. I think the staff slow played them bc they had guys higher on their board.
Davante Davis wants to play CB and our coaches wanted him at safety. That is why for the most part he had no interest in us.

well technically we don't, but mcelwain has an agreement with a guy but he is going to stay at his current gig through nsd. rumors it is the bama wr coach and other rumor it is the oregon wr coach. I don't know who it is, just mcelwain knows who it is.
i dont have much on dexter but i think he signs with miami.

Swagger, havent been caught up on recruiting as much this year but I will say Ice has alot of influence at BTW and such but if it is the prospects I think you are talking about, werent they hired guns from homestead? Ice never coached them and probably doesnt know their family like that. He had no edge with those guys, Ice was basically any other coach selling a crap product with lame duck coach.
What are you guys hearing about Callaway?
In fairness to Al, it's not as if we have the ACC Freshman of the Year at QB. Oh wait.....
