I kind of agree with Diego on the WR thing. Maybe they don't go there to die and I don't think there really are places that can kill potential NFL careers if the player is really good enough (unless it's a QB or RB) but at least since Harvin/Muprhy they definitely don't go there to be great or blow up or whatever. Is it QB play? Corching (Muschamp)? Probably both. That being said there's a new coach who has had offense put up pretty legit numbers.
combination of muschamp and driskel will make WR produciton very hard.

despite that dunbar put together a decent college career. He just isn't fast enough to be an NFL player.

patton made it to the nfl despite muschamp.

Haha, Dunbar had 9 catches for 68 yards his Sr year vs teams not named Eastern Michigan, Vandy, and Eastern Kentucky.

No idea I'm arguing with a Gator fan who lives on a Miami board. You are right, UF is an NFL factory for WRs. All those guys that busted were just bad fits.

We need Callaway and the speed he brings to the game. Just look what Dorsett did last year and Kaaya may have gotten him to the NFL round 2. Florida has significant issues including QB so hopefully that will diminish Callaway's interest there because here he can start.

If Tim "Ice" Harris can't sell him on Miami it says something about his recruiting. By the way Treon Harris is likely to shift positions at Florida, the new coaches aren't sold on him at QB.

McLewain or however you spell it will end up with Francois or Lamar Jackson so he may be selling Callaway on that.

Be thankful he didn't push for Walton because from what I hear he was interested.

Since Percy Harvin and Tim Tebow, UF hasn't produced a truly exciting player on offense, and before them I can't think of anyone other than Emmit Smith, maybe Fred Taylor...

UF, where elite offensive players go to never be heard of again...

5star WR Andre Dubose was supposed to be the next Percy Harvin...

He probably would have come close if he went elsewhere...

Was only a "bust" b/c he went to UF(yes I know about the injuries)...

Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne > Louis ****** Murphy.

lmao, you can't even be honest in your discussion. Where the **** did I ever say that? However, like I posted in another thread UF is among the top colleges with WR on an NFL roster, so your claim that uf wr's go there to die is also incorrect. if they are making nfl rosters they sure as **** didn't die.

I was pointing out that your logic is flawed. You tried to say a WR should not go to UF because wr' under a staff known for putting out ****** offenses did not get a lot of production out of the WR position. That staff is gone. On top of that failed logic, you mentioned names that didn't even play a down for UF,...guys like dunkley that were kicked out of uf.

and yes dunbar had a decent CAREER at uf. For a guy that is not very fast he did have a decent CAREER. You counter this with his senior stats. Do you not grasp the definition of career? Do you not understand the word decent?

I always thought you were intelligent, but since you have proven you need to lie (or maybe can't read) to have a discussion I guess I thought wrong.

so if he went anywhere else he would be a stud? That means you think he is super talented, right?

then we should see him playing on sundays. Or did going to UF make him not talented as well?

Who gives a ****? Calloway is gone. Does this debate matter? Our staff got beat by a staff that slow played the kid in our backyard until a week or two ago.

Still struggling to figure out the relevance of what ufayg and UM players did under previous regimes. Ufayg WR production under Muscrap is about as relevant to the 2015 recruiting class as UM's success producing RBs under Butch Davis.

We will agree to disagree on this subject. Golden has put all us Canes fans on edge. Maybe I'm not making sense anymore.

it isn't that you were necessarily wrong. WR production under the previous staff did suck. It is that you attempted to use things as proof that the future staff will suck as well.

you also attempted to use guys that never played a down (either transferred, never made it, or got kicked out) as proof that the wr are not developed. That is not very logical.

and disagreed with the "go to die" part. Guys like Robinson and even dunbar overcame awful coaching and even worse QB play to put decent careers together all things considered.

They might suck at getting production at WR but it wont have anything to do with what happened under muschamp.

I think Dexter Williams is going to pick ND because of RB coach Tony Alford

Do you come around here to feel better about your school hiring another glorified coordinator that lost his last game to friggin' Air Force? You might be a swell dude that some people around here (strangely) enjoy debating but how about you just beat it? For those of us that actually live in South Florida, we get plenty of real life interaction with Gayta deludinoids and apologists. Having to see them engage in similar debates on a friggin Canes board is just excessive. Let us wallow in our own misery. You go wallow in yours and tell us in 3 years how Foley is a great AD and will make the right hire THIS time.

Where did the Daylon Charlot thread go? Didn't think for a second we had a shot, but was it deleted?
