5-star WR Nicholas Lennear Puts Hurricanes In Top Choices

Five-star local wide receiver Nicholas Lennear out of Miami Carol City in Opa-locka, Florida, has released his top remaining choices in his recruitment, and Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes made the cut.

Lennear announced on social media that his top five schools are Miami, Florida State, Texas A&M, LSU, and Syracuse.



The five-star wideout is ranked as the No. 17 player nationally, the No. 4 wide receiver in the country, and the No. 3 prospect in Florida.

Lennear began his high school career at Miami Northwestern Senior High School before transferring to Miami Carol City Senior High School prior to his senior year. In 22 games over three seasons, he totaled 62 catches for 1,090 yards and 18 touchdowns.

He already holds an impressive offer list featuring schools such as Colorado, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, LSU, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Pitt, Tennessee, Texas, USC, West Virginia, SMU, and FIU, among others.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Hurricanes hold a 98.0% chance to land the five-star wide receiver out of South Florida.
