Five-star point guard Taylen Kinney, who has risen this summer, has trimmed his list to just eight, with the Miami Hurricanes included after just offering him a couple months ago.

Taylen announced on his Instagram that he trimmed his list; his list includes Miami, Kentucky, Louisville, Oregon, Kansas, Tennessee, Indiana, Arkansas, and Texas.

The five-star point guard also has scheduled a visit to Miami for September 19-21.

He is among the top rising seniors in the nation and transferred to Overtime Elite last season after an impressive performance in Newport, KY. During his time at OTE, he averaged 20.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game in the 2024-25 season with RWE.

Kinney has already taken official visits to Louisville and Purdue, and he plans to return to Kentucky before visiting Oregon.

According to the 247Sports rankings, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound point guard is a five-star prospect, ranked No. 11 overall in the 2026 class, No. 1 at his position, and No. 1 among players from Georgia.

Hope we can get him but going to be hard to pull him away from the bluegrass state. If Mikel Brown ends up being 1 & done, I could see him ending up in Louisville. Oregon is the dark horse.

There's another guard (Willie Foster c/o 2026) on his tau team that's also pretty good.
