Some of you just remind me how ***** made society has became due to social media... ur a key board killa on cis & a boy with the *** cheeks cut out of ur boxers in real life. Enjoy buddy

Do you think the distance will be the ultimate factor in the final decision? Let's say he comes down for his OV with his family - they are blown away by the visit and see the benefit of playing for CMR - will he ACTUALLY come? How important is it for his family to see him play? Chances are that won't happen much given the difficulty of travel. I can understand that being a big part of the final decision.

He isnt a kid that will be homesick because if he was he would have committed to OSU, UK, Louisville, WVU, Marshall, or UTK already.

Also as for the family coming to games, there is direct flights between Huntington/Charleston, WV to WPB or Fort Lauderdale for under $150 round trip. He wont have the big family road trip for each game if he went to a closer school.

If so, isn't that cause for concern or doubt, since he has not made it down to Miami yet for an unofficial visit?

It seems like the only thing that'll get him down to Miami is an OV. That's concerning because he's actively visiting other places

would be amazing but dont think this kid is gonna be a cane feels like an ohio state vs bama/tenn battle for him but we will see

Once again I say, can't we at least afford some ******* gas money to get these kids down here?

You clearly have missed the point. Its cost next to nothing to get in a car and go see Ohio State, UNC, VT, and UTK. From his house, he can get to each school in under 4 hours. Also when he went to Bama he also secretly visited Auburn and then UTK on the way back.

Like I said months ago on here, as long as Miami continues to recruit him and show he is a priority and dont get frustrated with him not able fund a trip all the way to Miami chances are good he will be a Cane. Send the money to get him and his down to Miami. Also he isnt an EE and will take this till the end. Miami just have to keep doing what they are doing.

I hope the staff weathers the storm and stays on him till the end. Him and Neal would change the dynamic of our O-line.

I hope that's right. I don't think I missed that point, just shared a perspective from an outside observer.

I hope there is no hurdle due to the distance of Miami. I hope his lack of visiting isn't indicative of anything negative. Hard for me to feel Miami is a real contender until he visits, and even then, some form of visit aside from an OV would be significant to me.

Winning and Trust will win this recruitment.

Not Bags and not Proximity

Your talking about a kid who got a Miami shirt for Christmas, took a picture and sent it to Coach Hartley and said "How about them Canes"

You dont reach out to a coach who gave you your first offer as an 8th Grader if your not the least bit interested.

You dont pinned the tweet about getting the Miami offer to the top of your Twitter for months either. An offer that came long after all the other top schools offered.

That's great, and I enjoy reading your take and insight on it.

I've just seen plenty of recruits who had Miami as their dream school or childhood favorite get whisked away by the recruiting process.

You know as well as I do, that as a fan with nothing but what is reported to go off of, you just gotta try to read the tea leaves to see how things seem to be trending. The public info out there doesn't look particularly promising for us right now. But, it doesn't seem Wright is in a huge hurry, and there's A LOT I have no idea about.

Sounds like we have a shot. We gotta do everything we can to maximize it.

Good stuff

You trust Miami to go the distance? What’s the best case scenario in terms of our season to lock him up? and what’s the worst case scenario for our season that could still get our hat on his table?

Can anybody give this family a ride at the end of the month.... 👀👀 somebody.... anybody?

Man y’all don’t get it. I’ve been watching canesinsight from the sidelines now for awhile. If y’all want boring cold cut facts go watch the interviews on youtube.

Brooklyndee chef Stef and marrero provide INSIGHT and that’s the analysis and prediction piece of it. These guys aren’t God and they’re not Steve Wiltfong. They won’t be 100% right. Quit screaming f the dealer. It happened to Pete and he walked through the flames. I doubt these guys wanna put up with that.

A lot of the public info is wrong and based of speculation because he doesnt do interviews and his HC is a huge UTK fan and is funneling most of the info. But here is the rundown according to the family.

Alabama and Clemson - Consistant Playoff contender.

Ohio State - The best local program

Virginia Tech - One of his first offers

Miami - Childhood Favorite team long time relationship with Coach Hartley from his days at Marshall and Coach Searles from his days at VT.

Oklahoma - Long history of producing tackles and has a long relationship with the OL coach from his days at WVU.

UNC - Former HS teammate is on the roster and WV native Ryan Switzer had a lot of success there and is actively recruiting him to UNC.

UTK - Close, HS coach is an Alum, and there is a Huntington native on the roster.
