Five-star defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright, whose uncle is NFL Hall of Famer and Miami legend Ray Lewis, has set a commitment date for July 4th with the Hurricanes as a finalist in his recruitment.

On3’s Hayes Fawcett announced on his Twitter that he has set his commitment date for July 4th, with his finalists being the Hurricanes, Texas A&M, Clemson, and Texas.

Perry-Wright attends Buford High School in Georgia and plans to visit Coral Gables this weekend.

Perry-Wright, is ranked as the No. 34 overall recruit and the fifth-ranked EDGE player in the nation, he had an impressive junior year, recording 57 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and nine sacks.

As a sophomore the 6-foot-5, 250-pound lineman achieved a throw of 41-9 in the shot put and finished the 100-meter dash in 12.60 seconds.

Can the Hurricanes land Bryce Perry-Wright? Guess we will have to wait and see until July 4th.

Any shot here? wasn't aware of the family connection.

Also weird to see a Burford kid with no UGA in the mix.

Left out the part that he’s kin to Grady Jarrett that played at Clemson. Has a family member on staff at Clemson and kin to another guy that played at Clemson.
Doesn’t he have some relation to ray though,

Of course. Seems a bit misleading to leave out all the Clemson connections. Jarrett is his cousin. Current cousin on the team and some relation to a coach.
