5-star 2026 PG Deron Rippey Jr. Sets Visit To Miami

One of the top point guards in America is coming down to Coral Gables next month, his dad tells CanesInSight.

Five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr. is set to visit Miami from August 27-29, as he informed CIS. He recently scheduled a visit to Kentucky for August 1st.



The Miami coaching staff attended his games in late May during the 3SSB circuit. During his time at the circuit, he averaged 15.6 points per game, 5.6 rebounds, and two steals per game.

Rippey is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound five-star prospect who is currently ranked No. 19 overall, No. 5 at his position, and No. 1 among New Jersey players in the 247Sports 2026 Composite.

Deron Rippey Jr. has not announced any finalists or a timeline yet.

Deron has picked up tons of offers this offseason, picking up offers from teams such as Miami, Maryland, Auburn, Texas, and Tennessee.

I saw him at the NBPA Top 100 camp a few weeks ago. Ron-Ron is the real deal and a true NYC PG. Without question one of the top PGs in the country. Will be tough because everyone is on this kid right now, but would love to see him in Miami orange & green.
