Kevin Thomas has kept his recruitment relatively quiet, but a significant step was made Thursday.

Thomas, a 6-foot-7 small forward in the class of 2026, trimmed his list of 13 Division I offers down to a final four, according to On3’s Joe Tipton. Miami made the cut, along with Auburn, Florida, and LSU.

A four-star prospect per 247Sports, Thomas has taken four official visits so far — Florida State (Aug. 29), LSU (Sept. 19), Miami (Sept. 27) — and will head to Auburn next weekend for his final trip.

Thomas, who suits up for Montverde Academy (FL), is ranked No. 74 overall, No. 31 among small forwards, and No. 15 in Florida in the 247Sports 2026 Composite Rankings.

On the AAU circuit, he recently joined SOH Elite (Under Armour), where he’s averaged 11.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and tallied 18 steals over 13 games.
