4-star safety Blake Stewart Trims List With Hurricanes Included; Sets Commitment Date
Four-star Class of 2026 safety Blake Stewart has narrowed his list of finalists to four programs, and the Miami Hurricanes have made the cut. Stewart also announced that he has set a commitment date.
The 6-foot, 175-pound safety out of Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, is scheduled to make his college decision on July 13th. His finalists include Miami, Clemson, Vanderbilt, and Michigan.
Stewart has taken official visits to each of his top four schools, including a trip to Miami two weekends ago. Michigan hosted him for his final visit on June 20th.
According to 247Sports, Clemson is currently viewed as the favorite to land Stewart, with three crystal ball predictions in favor of the Tigers.
Miami has yet to secure a commitment from a safety in its 2026 class. If the Hurricanes are able to flip Stewart away from Clemson, he would become the first safety pledge in the class.
Stewart is ranked as the No. 24 safety in the nation and the No. 308 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
