Four-star offensive tackle out of Pittsburgh (PA) now has a date locked in for his college decision, and it’s coming soon.

The highly regarded offensive tackle announced he will make his college commitment tomorrow, April 17th, revealing where he will spend the next 3–4 years.

The 6-foot-8, 280-pound offensive tackle is considering teams like Miami, Clemson, Texas, Ohio State, Georgia, and LSU. According to both On3 and 247Sports, they have him projected to land with the Buckeyes of Ohio State.

He’s been active on the recruiting trail throughout his recruitment and has made multiple trips to Miami, with his most recent visit coming last March. He is also visiting Ohio State’s spring game, which is upcoming.

According to the 247Sports rankings, Kalis is a four-star prospect in the 2027 class, ranked No. 247 nationally, No. 24 at offensive tackle, and No. 10 among players from Pennsylvania.

The Canes continue to stack talent in the 2027 class on both sides of the ball, and Jimmy Kalis would be a major long-term addition up front at 6-foot-8, 285 pounds. The odds are pointing toward Ohio State, but can Miami pull one away late? We shall see.
