4-star DT Neal speaks on long-awaited UM offer

Just my opinion, the staff has not completely learned that until they can post 10 or more wins and a bowl victory they need to grab the best sure thing around, coach it up real well, good S&C and go from there. You have to claw and scratch your way back to the top. One cannot go out and say just because we have a new coaching staff you should come to us. You cannot act like a top 10 team until you start winning like them.

winning, paying....whatever.

UM

Give him some time to get over the "bitter stage". He deserves that much. I see him jumping onboard before the season starts. I love his highlights. This is a kid can be very good after 2 years in our S&C program.

He doesn’t deserve anything. Why is it that everyone believes they “deserve” a Miami offer straight outta the womb and hold us accountable more than any other school? How about being thankful that you got the offer and be happy

This kid is handsy....needs to learn to wrap up. He's not going to get ball carriers down at the next level like that.

Seems like a Cane to me, theres guys who say dream school and they leave but when they say our offer is a game changer and they dont have typical cheating schools recruiting them (and changing there mind with bags) they are ours.

We waited too long on this one. I liked this kid’s tape a lot for a DT. This is the staff admitting they’ve missed on 4-5 guys they had rated higher than him. It’s not hard to figure out based on who’s been offered, committed elsewhere, and announced finalists without UM even getting a hat. This staff really needs to hold on to all the DL commits.

If offer is commitable (which I believe it is) the kid will be a Hurricane come signing day. I was told this kid is about as much of a LOCK as a LOCK can be and I hope Miami doesn’t mess around and **** the kid off. Saying that (yes I know he’s still young) but he tends to be a bit lazy and undisciplined. That can always change but going to need a swift kick in the butt to be the best he can be.

D line recruiting has been fine under this defensive staff. I have no complaints whatsoever. 3 really good D tackles last year and it seems like literally every year we have brought in a stud d end.

We whiffed in all the in state kids last year at DT. That’s no knock on the guys we got but to say they’re really good is a stretch. I can see Holey being the Zion of the bunch.

I'm sure I've missed this, is he related to Evan Neal?
