DMoney had the opportunity to speak with several recruits after the official visits this past weekend. He met with Tristan Keys, the top-ranked wide receiver, and Somoruian Wingo, who is also among the top 25 wide receivers.
Here is what Wingo had to say about the visit and program:
On how the Hurricanes will utilize him:
“Just being the big receiver and the big wide out is something that they're going to need, and that's something that they want."
His bond with Coach Kevin Beard:
"The bond always strengthens around KB {Kevin Beard}, especially this weekend, being around my family and him just showing that he can be that same person around my younger siblings, my sisters, he's a good dude, good coach, and it's just a blessing to know him."
Impression on the City of Miami:
It's everything that I hear about, and that's something im interested in as well."
On how the visit had an impact on his recruitment:
"Huge impact. They set the standard, now everywhere I go, they got to give it 100 and ten percent and prove that they want me, just like Miami did."
What he is looking for in these official visits?
"Proving that im a huge priority. Them showing that they really want me and putting me first."
