3-Star TE Carter Blackwell Receives Offer From Miami

Three-star prospect Carter Blackwell out of Leesburg (GA) Lee County tight end Carter Blackwell has received an offer from the Miami Hurricanes.

On Friday morning, the 6-foot-4 224-pound tight end announced on Twitter that he has received a scholarship offer from Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes staff.



According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Blackwell is currently rated as a three-star prospect. The 2027 prospect also ranks as the No. 846 player nationally, No. 42 tight end, and the No. 100 player in the Peach State.

In addition to the Miami Hurricanes offering him, Miami now battles it out for Blackwell with offers from Florida State, Clemson, Duke, UCF, Colorado, Maryland, NC State, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, among others.

This past season, Blackwell helped lead Lee County High School to an 8-4 record, racking up 24 receptions for 438 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
