Three-star (Canton, GA) Sequoyah linebacker Drew Williams trimmed his list of college offers to just four schools: Miami, Florida, Kentucky, and Oregon.

Williams is currently measured in at 6-foot-1, 200-pounds. According to 247Sports, Williams will have a big summer ahead of him, visiting Miami on June 5th. Williams also plans on taking official visits to Oregon (May 29th), Kentucky (June 12th), and Florida (June 19th).

During his junior season, Drew took his game to a whole new level, accomplishing a total of 135.0 tackles, 13.0 tackles for loss, 10.4 tackles per game, and 5.0 sacks. During the month of March, Drew was seen on campus where he spent his time in Coral Gables watching the Hurricanes practice. This past month, Drew has also visited Oregon and Florida.

According to 247Sports, Drew currently sits as a three-star prospect. Drew also holds the No. 605 player nationally, No. 50 linebacker, and No. 72 player out of Georgia. The Kentucky Wildcats have done a significant job recruiting Williams to Lexington, as according to On3, the Wildcats currently lead in his recruitment.

The Hurricanes currently hold the No. 8 class in the 2027 recruiting rankings. Miami currently has a total of 13 commitments; however the Hurricanes are still seeking for their first linebacker pledge of the class.

Something here. Looks instinctive and relentless. Fairly tall and lean, could grow into Chase Smith-type stature. Doesn't look real fast, or short space sudden; speed and quicks appear adequate, but guys with some height look slower than they really are sometimes. The instinctiveness and rise in production against pretty good competition, presumably, make him worth a look/take imo. Could see a climb to low, even mid 4* here.
My 2 cents, fwiw. And we all know what 2 cents will get ya!
