3-star Freddie Wilson Recaps Miami Spring Game Visit: 'A Little Sunshine Can Never Go Wrong'
Today, Miami held its annual Spring game, attracting more than 50 recruits. Among them was three-star defensive lineman Freddie Wilson, who shared with CanesInSight that he really enjoyed his visit.
"Man I loved the visit. The weather was beautiful a little sunshine can never go wrong, the campus is huge definitely can’t wait to be back to get a bit more experience for my ov {official visit}." Said Wilson.
He told CanesInSight that he intends to decide on his college commitment by this July. He also has a strong relationship with Coach Cristobal and the rest of the staff.
"My relationship with the coaches are pretty close." Said Wilson.
Wilson stands at 6-feet-4 inches tall and weighs 265 pounds, playing as a defensive end from Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Florida. As he heads into his senior year, he wrapped up his junior season with impressive stats: 65 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and five sacks. He led Spruce Creek to an 8-4 record and a spot in the second round of Florida’s 7A playoffs.
Wilson is ranked as the 513th player in the class of 2026, the 55th defensive lineman, and the 77th player in Florida.
