If they ever needed to close on a kid badly it's for Neal. He could transform our entire line and offense next year.
So if they get Neal that excuses all the others? They need alot on that list, I agree Neal is at the top......but they have to close on others to keep them away from who we chasing if not we will still be chasing no matter whos on the OL. Every kid on that list is important and we should close on most. Should.......key word but its unlikely do to evidence of the last 2 cycles........closing isnt there strong suit depending on who they are going up against......if bama and Ugay are involved those are the keys to weakening those teams. Close on home growns or find someone who can........I have given up on this staff but closing (since they wont get canned) is important. Im not expecting much though keeping my expectations low.

We gotta get Nunn, he's right there with Stevenson and Battle in the 19 class and it would help with his teammate Marshall in 21 who needs to be a CANE 🙌

Bro, you been high on Kirby lately, would you believe he only got 5 of the top 25 players in Ga right now. He is not closing on local kids either, but boosters help him out with the OOS kids.

UGA has been shaky lately I wont deny that, which is a good thing for some of our targets.......but like the OP said Bama is lurking and they are the best closers........besides last cycle where UGA gave them some trouble.

I am sure he would play, but he would still be a freshman. OLine is a tough place to play for young guys. Everyone was clamoring for Scaife to start at RT but he didn't really look great. Lots of penalties.

He is a must get for sure, but transforming the offense next year???

What other tackles are we after besides Neal and the kid commited to miss state? We need to target at least 10 tackles. We have the weakest tackle play I have ever seen.

We go 8-4 and end up in a crapfest of a bowl game and recruiting is going to lose all its momentum. As if the performance last week didn't do enough.

Might be the best S prospect in Sfla and I love Tyrique but the more and more I keep seeing Battle the more I like him over Tyrique.

Tyrique also doesn't play on a defense littered with P5 prospects.

Battle probably has the easiest Safety job in HS football right now.

Honestly I dont think we get Neal. Not with Searles as the coach.

The boosters have apparently assured the University that they will be heavily involved in funding it. He would get a lump sum $15 million within 30 days of firing. The remaining $16-$17 million is paid out over 4 years. I read a bunch of stuff about this last night. It seems like Malzahn is literally 1 loss away from losing his job
It's crazy how UAB almost had to shut down its entire football operation due to low funding but teams like Bama and Auburn have this type money to just throw around. It's a **** shame.

If you look at the UAB story. Alabama thru Politcs and Bear Bryant son defunded the program and got it shut down.

Malzahn's buyout is $38M... saw someone post on twitter that the money would not be a problem. How the **** is $38M not a problem???

Crazy money.

Auburn has 200k alumni so that's less than $200 a person.

I love them both but as long as we Stevenson Im aight with Battle at OSU and thats hard for me to say.......if we lose TS its an epic fail as usual.

So, which of the 15 are Miami's silents? :nba-kobe-bryant-upset:

So basically Bama is just sitting up on the perch waiting to Hawk all our top commits if we continue to take bad L's this season.

This implies Bama needs to wait on us to lose....think Bama gets whoever they want typically regardless of what another teams record may be

Thanks for the write-up.

But, you have to win games to get the top players....and losing to VA was not ideal.

Richt is regularly out-coached on the offensive side of the ball.

Winning gets the top players.

Hopefully we get loads of top players in this class, but we have to WIN.

Less and less confidence with the person calling the offensive plays - and unfortunately that would be the HC.

Can someone tell me how: "Fuller has begun to be personally recruited by Nick Saban". I thought a Head Coach only has limited contact? I don't hear how CMR is personally recruiting anyone.

Appreciate the post but it's been the same story with all these kids for the past few months. I like our class but we really need to hit on half of these guys if we want to compete with the big dogs.
