It's going to be a fight to get this kid. Qb's don't typically wait until signing day to pick a school so this recruitment is going to be interesting.

Im still loving urbans pitches "you can be like such and such player"

I hope the kids can see through that bull ****

Someone please explain to this kid that Urban Meyer is a fraud. Sure his QBs put up good numbers in college but they never actually progress as QBs by learning to read defenses and improve their accuracy. Sure Urban might be able to get you to the league but once you're there you're more likely to fail and Braxton Miller looks like the next sure fire Urban Meyer Draft bust.

Fraud? He's a proven winner in CFB - a great coach. One car argue that Urban gets the most out of his QB position in college. What other coaches can lay claim to consistently putting kids in the pros?

Would be nice to see Golden land some of the elite talent from AH.

No fuggin excuses.

After what happened to McKenzie, Sorny, Dowels, Cerenernoud, there's something up with that school. It's an uphill battle with that school.
The head coach at AH is Mike Rumph. If there's something up with that school it's because of poor recruiting, not a poison pill feeding the kids there anti-Miami propaganda.

Mike Rumph is the head coach at AH and we still went 0 for eleventy billion at that school. What a disgrace.

Well technically we only went hard after one of his guys. Sony. thats about it.

Yes we should have went after Cerenod and McKenzie alot harder. Dowells too.

This year we need to pull out all the stops to get McFadden and Gibson.

Not saying I don't want this kid, but I don't think it's a do or die for him. He really does fit better in a spread set offense. Probably better suited for Auburn than OSU and that fraud Urban Myer. We need a QB that can make reads and completions and I'm not sold this kid will ever be a high percentage passer or good at reading defenses. Winston is a good example of a passer, but efficient runner.

Pretty freaking far from a fraud.

If Coley is worth a ****, he'll make adjustments for Gibson. Malzhan has Marshall right now and just signed Sean White. Those two QBs are and totally different ends of the QB spectrum.

Coley should be able to take advantage of Gibson's talents. I mean, we already do rollouts and sprint-outs with Morris. Now all we need to add are some different read-option plays and QB runs to take advantage of Gibson's abilities.

The term "spread offense" is so overblown. It's not like our entire playbook will have to be scrapped.

He would be smart to go a pro style offense so he can learn and have an opportunity at the next level. Running Meyers offense will stunt his growth.

This being said he sounds like another typical S FL recruit that wants to play it out until signing day. If he won't commit early you have to move on and get another QB so you don't strike out.

Ask a coach, agreed. But, as a human being....100%

Recruited since the 8th grade but complains about not being spoken to for a couple weeks? **** these divas. Give me Wimbush or someone who doesn't have to be babysat.

I noticed that also.... Only thing is i think ohio st #1 target is wimbush over gibson

'Til Wimbush reads Gibson's quote about Meyer telling him that HE'S their #1 guy. Lol.

Kid is a stud. May end up being the top player out of Florida and a definite 5 star recruit.

Kaaya might have better quarterback tools, but Gibson is a better athlete.

However, with BK on his way in and Miller on his way out, I see him going up to OSU.

i really hate this "miami has beef with a certain high school" bs.

first it was Shannon vs. Central.

last year it was Golden vs. BTW.

now it's Golden vs. heritage and university school.

don't make up some weird excuses to explain poor recruiting.
