No Coker is still at FSU until the spring but he already committed to Bama staff. It's a weird situation

Finishes the degree after the Spring session and will be at Bama in the Summer? Or Does he have a chance to be there for Spring Practice?

Finishes his degree in the spring. He got hurt late in the season so I don't think he would be able to practice anyway

I had actually read on StateoftheU that they did want Quincy but they wanted him at Safety and he pretty much only told them he would only play corner.

Not true. Miami didn't offer him at any position

Chad has stated several times that he was frustrated with the fact that he took Quincy to several UM camps and although Quincy performed very well, the staff not only didn't offer, but they didn't even have a conversation with him or his son. Says them not offering isn't the tough part, but he's a proud alum, and felt the common courtesy of a conversation or explanation was the right thing to do...

Take it as you may, but anyone here that loves the U would be very frustrated to see OSU, UF and the majority of the other schools offering, but you don't even get a conversation from the school you've always want to go to.....

I am sure his dad simply could have asked and received an answer. I think his dad lives in a fantasy world and isn't a proud alum.

FOR THE RECORD, I wrote that SOTU piece, and talked with Chad about it on Twitter afterwards. The part about us offering him at another position was wrong. I got incorrect information, which I then clarified and corrected.

Pete..could you give us your ideal projection of our front four come lousville game ...(ideally what you hope it will be)

Pete thanks for your replies
Who do you think, in order, Miami is going hardest after (top ten) for 2015.

Pete what time the work coming?

Burgess-Becker and Ridley going to commit soon???.....

The confidence in Ridley and SBB...

...as WTH would say...

"warms my plums"

They can stop overthinking offers, which it looks like they're trying not to do.

Who from this class do you believe fell into this category?

My guess is kids like McKenzie and Battle.

Treon is another. He would have been locked up if they offered early.

It's one thing if they didn't like Quincy as a prospect, but I don't understand them taking Mayes who is a much lesser version of what Quincy is. As has been documented here, Quincy is a big name in the community and it would not have hurt to have him on our side recruiting.

How much sway could Quincy have when all the guys that he rounded up decided to not go to Florida? Isn't he the only left of the 3 that committed on the same day?

It's just a perception thing really. A lot of these younger kids (McFadden, Bruce, Gibson, Causey, etc) look up to Quincy and it would have been a good look for Miami.

Also, quincy helped get those kids to commit. But if UF goes 8-4 instead of 4-8 I think cook and lane would've stayed committed

Do you think there is anything more the staff can do (besides win) that would help recruiting the ELITES in So.Fla?

Pete, do you think this staff understands how certain recruits can have a big impact/influence with other recruits?

For example, did they not know or care that a Treon Harris or Quincy Wilson had pull with other recruits in the 2014 cycle and could have helped us tremendously?

Pete, will Lenius be visiting this weekend? He was removed for the OV list on this site and 247.

Treon....TV.....BO

IN ORDER most likely to sign with Miami?

No doubt. Obvious front-runners, UF just became a joke. I completely believe that taking Quincy would've helped us in some way. How significantly I can't be sure, and whether it's right or not I'm not sure.

Not Pete, but I'll predict his response:

Treon.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................TV......Bo.

Looking ahead...Sh'Mar Kilby Lane is at the same school as John Battle. Does Drummond have his hooks in...errrrrrrrr....is Drummond that kid's handler too?
