Stop worrrying about Bama and SFLA recruits......

How many kids has Saban scooped from Dade, Broward or Palm Beach since Amari Cooper? Eddie Jackson? That's about it.....

Two reasons.....

First, if these kids wanna get out of SFLA and experience the "college life" Gainesville and Tallahassee are much closer and serve the same purpose.

Second, as crazy as it sounds.....Bama does not grease street agents or family members anymore (they used to). They have the best college football organization ever created (combination of coaches, facilities, exposure, etc.). Kids are falling over one another to go there. LSU pays....thats the only reason SFLA kids go there. Cut off the $....you would never see a Dade, Broward or Palm Beach kid go to Baton Rouge again.

I don't even pay attention to Bama when we are recruiting against them for a SFLA kid.

LSU doesn't pay for recruits. They're solid year in and year out and have a proven coach. The southeast has plenty of good football players. Some of you guys act like you can't win a National Championship without most of your team from south Florida. If you factor everything out but the coaches then LSU and Alabama are far more attractive. If we start winning then that changes.

Glad someone outside that coaching staff can take such a definitive position on that.

Yeah guys. Don't worry about Bama.

We should worry about LSU, Georgia, FSU and UF instead. Bama is the least of our concerns.
 
LSU paid Willie Lyles $6,000 for a few DVD's of game footage.

Four of the discs contain video of players that was publicly available on YouTube at the time LSU says it first began receiving video from CSS; one disc contains clips of nine players identical to video on scout.com; and two discs contain highlight packages from online sports video companies.

Whether you believe those payments are for legitimate purposes or a "workaround" for the sole purpose of influencing handlers is a matter of your own stupidity.

That article screams out why we should not even be debating whether UM should allow handlers to be a part of the process as they desire and do things like come on visits with the recruits. We don't have the cover that LSU enjoys to be able to get such soft treatment from the media.

The last disc was actually a bootleg Tyler Perry movie.

i fail to see how were able to sign everyone whose worth a fack that comes out of s.florida??

last time i checked we could only sign 25-30 kids a year and only have 22 starting spots???

Are you kidding?!? When you're interviewing a kid or talking about his recruiting, of course that's not going to come up! If you ever grew up with friends or had family members that went D1, then you would know that everybody gets something!!! Might not be money, but everybody gets something!! The extra perks might not sway their decision, but you're being naive to think otherwise!!
