Maybe he did well in practice because our DL is overrated. Last night he looked like he should be at App State. But I agree, Enos did him no favors.

Majority of the pressure we did get was from blitzing , the dL was pretty pathetic.
 
Enos never made the proper adjustments and if Nelson and our o-line held their own against our d-line in practice, it doesn't say a **** of a lot about our d-line. Our d-line never really mounted any consistent pressure on Franks and for the most part they were handled by the turds o-line in pass protection. Garvin is our only end that looked like a handful. Either the turds have a championship caliber defense or our o-line sucks, Sept 7th will tell a lot against a weak N.C. team. Gotta feel for Williams, he is extremely accurate, but he has a hard time extending plays. Would have liked to have seen more screens and draws to take the pressure off.

There is only one real pass rusher in the starting lineup. Ford, bethel, patchan are not pass rushers. They were good vs the run though. Last year line had jackson and willis who were better at getting to the qb.

I think patchan was needed vs a team like uf and he held his own in the run game. as hill gets more comfortable he will eventually start with garvin and the pass rush will get better.
 
Staff left the kid out on an island. No adjustments made. You line a TE up next to him to for max protection after he gives up sack #4

I don’t want you to say anything. You postulated that he was overwhelmed by the lights or hasn’t gone against the right people in practice. There are other possibilities, including he isn’t good enough, isn’t ready (lights aside), and what we heard from practice wasn’t accurate.
