2026 Zion Elee 5* DE From Baltimore (St Frances) initially commits to Maryland

Dave Chappelle Gotcha GIF
lol its a random grouping of teams that i doubt they pulled outta their *** zion

Zero chance he goes to Maryland

Under no circumstances will this kid stick with Maryland.

Yeah but is this gonna be the guy South Carolina pushes all its chips in for? They've been doing that for a 5star every class...

His top 6 is just kinda weird though. Only good thing is it seems he isn't super into aura of playing in SEC. And we are usually appealing to kids from Jersey .. but maybe that's more just rich white kids lol.

That's EXACTLY what they do.

Now that Cantwell has set the market, I think Elee's price will get out of hand.

Beamer has a hard-on for DMV recruits too. So I'm watching Carter Meadows. I know they like him. He may end up being their guy instead of Elee.

Why aren't we after this kid??

Swap the local for the NC kid and call it.

South Carolina did pick him as the one to back up the brinks for this cycle

Sucks that we couldn't land him but I love the money making these commitments stick, especially with the higher end guys. Puts the onus on us to close earlier & not rely on flips for top end guys. If we could do what we did with Cantwell & i think Cici with a couple other positions we can continue our upward trajectory.

Have to think he's regretting his decision now.

I think Locksley is getting fired this year, so I am definitely playing the long game, here.

You were right, just a year early.

Suspect U$Ce won't be a bidder when he hits the portal this cycle as Beamer tells Locksley, "Yo, I've got next"

i'm next kylie bunbury GIF by Pitch on FOX

If Scott stays...

You spend whatever you can throw at this kid… And then your #2 item is a starter on the OL (I would guess Center but if the chips fall and either T or G is more important then you get that). Then a quality LB or at least a nice piece to fit in the top 3 in the rotation… Unless a portal loss leaves you with a glaring hole, then I think everything else can be some depth adds.

Now if Scott bails… DT may trump DE as the biggest need. JMO

I saw this X post yesterday and to thought to myself, too bad he decided to waste his time in Maryland. Should probably post to the Elee thread when I have a chance. Never got around to it. Now posting with a greater sense of urgency.

My guess is, he ends up with VA Tech.

As long as he doesn't go to, Ohio ST, Indiana, Pitt, UNC, UGA or Cheatagain, I'm good.

Of course I think we should pursue him once he hits the Portal, but if the asking price is too high I understand not breaking the bank for him.

And before anyone even asks me, no I wouldn't care, nor be worried if he went to UF or FSU. Those are dead programs & all he would be doing is boarding the Titanic while it's sinking.

A as in only one LOL brother WE NEED 3 minium starter type on the OL PERIOD

I’d go all out here honestly, you’d get 2 years with him and he is an elite talent. Competition will be stiff obviously but worth it, especially if we feel by January that Lightfoot is leaving. Even if he isn’t, pairing him up with Lightfoot would be lethal. Our Edge development and of course $$ should get us in the door IF he opts to leave. He is a DMV boy though through and through, and as long as the new HC keeps AAR, I’d bet he probably stays and they ante up to keep him.
