Yep his dad got a job at the school as an administrator. He was looking for a new job that pays more and Carrollton has money.

“I love Miami,” Watts said. “I love everything they are doing right now. It’s a school that I’ve always had in mind. I really like them. I’m really open to keep building that relationship with Miami.”
“I was really impressed with their run game last year and just the run to the national championship,” Watts said. “I really liked the way they used Mark Fletcher. I feel like I could be really good in their offense.”
“I actually went out to Miami when I was in the seventh grade,” Watts said. “But I definitely want to go back for an actual visit. I want to see the facilities and what they can offer me in the years to come.”
Watts is a teammate of two Miami commits — Top 100 2028 offensive lineman Kweli Fielder and elite 2029 quarterback CJ Cypher. And yes, both are recruiting him to The U. “They want me to go there with them,” Watts said. “They know how much of an asset I can be to them. They are both great teammates. They bring a lot to the table as players. They are big contributors to the team.”
