I'm talking about when I was looking online at top players in the area and all that ****. Pretty sure I would have heard of him if he plays 20 minutes from me.

Oh no and I’ve never heard of JJ McCarthy until I saw the first espn jr rankings come out. He also plays 20 minutes from me but is not going to IMG for his senior year instead of playing here. His team finished second in state last year.

Even if we take Leigh or Byrd they both need about 20 pounds of muscle put on...none of them have given us reason to believe we’re in their top group other than what Stefan said a month ago. This guy has tremendous upside and he’s wide open.

I think that since we already got 3 (4 if you count Walker), we need to go all out for both Leigh and Byrd. We have a good season then it’s possible we could snag both. That’d be absolutely amazing.
 
You’re looking at a Top 200 player in the country(203 as of now) according to 247. Really, really liked this kid and he’s now more highly rated than McLaughlin.
