In July I asked for recommendations for best ways to watch all UM games. Youtubetv appeared to be the most recommended choice so I subscribed. My son was in town for the gators game and we watched it on youtubetv. Yesterday I invited company for the Rattlers game and it appears to have been blocked?

So far I've found YTTV's interface to be un-intuitive but in time I expect it to become familiar. But, the reason I subscribed was to see ALL UM and ACC games.

After last year's Spectrum/Disney last minute blocking the game fiasco I installed Starlink. It places me in the Orlando/Daytona Beach/Melbourne location and appears to be blocking UM home games. I'm over 200 miles away from the UM and over 123 from UF.

Before I cancel YTTV can anyone offer any suggestions?

YouTube tv is the superior product to all streaming platforms. By a wide margin. But if you’re willing to do it cable is still the best option for watching live sports. It’s utterly useless for all other programming but streaming platforms are very delayed and if you’re in a group chat or something similar with other canes fans you will be ****ed that you’re nearly 2 plays behind others…. Always.

If you’re a die hard canes baseball and basketball fan you will continue to be disappointed by YouTube tv’s relationship with acc network.

I don’t know if I am reading your post incorrectly but if you can get spectrum in the central Florida area I highly recommend getting them if you’re a die hard cane fan wanting to watch the 3 major sports. I never have issues watching games across any of the 3 different sports with my spectrum login.

How did you try to watch it where it was blocked?

youtube tv is the best by far, this sounds like user error

youtube tv comes with ACC network - many people on here explained that if you logged into the ESPN app / website with your youtube tv login that you would be able to watch last nights game (i did and it worked perfectly fine).

I usually find a live stream of the game on YouTube either through the YouTube app on my TV or just mirror it to my TV through my phone. I've watched the last 5 or 6 games this way.

This ^^^

Or have a subscription to ESPN+, which I have from getting a Disney Bundle free from Verizon.

You should just used ESPN.com and logged in with your YouTubetv credentials. You can still watch the replay. The recommendations were on point you just didn't know what to do.

I caught live broadcast snippets of the game as I had time and I watched the full replay last night.

The streaming delay vs cable broadcast is in fact incredibly annoying. Think they could easily fix it if they cared but doubt it’s even a blip for them in priorities.

We just switched from Direct TV to Youtube TV + NFL Sunday Ticket. Love it. Like everything takes getting used to. As far as being blocked ... I drove down from DeLand for the game ... but my wife followed a recommendation that had been posted on Canesport .... if you have a smart TV just simply go on YOUTUBE ...(not Youtube TV .. just YOUTUBE) and use search for UM vs ..... (the days opponent) and you will see options to stream live. She isn't real IT intuitive ... and she was able to watch the entire game.

The whole espn/accnx issue was only for this game. It is annoying to have to use the Espn app, but every other should be on regular espn or accn on YTTV.

Had no problems with the stream yesterday. Only two gripes--if you can call them that.
1.) The stream was delayed about 15 seconds as I got ESPN phone app alerts of scores just before they happened.
2.) Two of the corniest cornballs were in the booth calling the game. Would have liked to get a sports radio broadcast dubbed over the ACCNX cast.

I have been pretty happy with Hulu Live. We also have the bundle that includes espn+. I like that I can easily switch between watching an espn+ game to a game on fox or nbc or cbs without having to close out of the espn app to do it. It has all the sports channels I need (espn, espn2, espnnews, espnu, fs1, fs2).
