Of the 20 players who got playing time on offense during the FSpoo game, 10 of them were freshman and sophomores.

Here is the list:
QB NKosi Perry RFR
HB Deejay Dallas SO
WR Jeff Thomas SO
WR Mike Harley SO
WR Brian Hightower FR
WR Daquris Wiggins FR
TE Brevin Jordan FR
TE Will Mallory FR
RG Navaughn Donaldson SO
RT Delone Scaife FR

This explains some of the mistakes we have seen on offense. I'm sure there will be more growing pains, but the future is bright as ****

Recruiting at a high level. We’ve had good young talent before but they never fully developed. That’s the key going forward. Turn these guys into stars/championship level players. I think we have the staff to do it.

We keep developing this young talent, it will be remembered as the group that brought the U our official 6th ring. I say official because we all know there are several other titles that were stolen from us. But how amazing are the 2017 and 2018 classes turning out to be? We stack another great signing class for 2019, we should then have the requisite depth necessary to carry us to the CFP, easily.

This is what people have failed to realize. At one point we had 8 of them on the field at once. This offense is going to be dominant for years to come once these kids grow up. We just need to keep adding pieces, especially on the O-line.

The chemistry that is being built is what’s going to take this team over the top. This staff is working on building team chemistry even before these guys are officially on the roster. The way they are consistently getting recruits together and having group chats, these kids are becoming close friends a year before they are actually on the roster.

Is it abnormal for half of a team's in-game offensive players to be Freshmen/Sophomores?

And, if so, what is a normal ratio?

No facts to base this on, but I would guess, with normal graduation, and other attrition factors, I would say 10%, or less , at any given time.

Anyone know why Pope and Lingard aren't getting more playing time? Is it a blocking issue?
