Your thoughts on a Preseason Game

Not every FBS school can afford to pay an FCS school to come play them. Group of 5 schools don't make nearly the amount of money that Power 5 schools make.

Central Michigan isn't trying to pay some FCS school half a million dollars to possibly beat them.

What? G5 are paying that already, that is pretty much the going rate
 
I wish Miami played Bethune or Central Michigan game 1 then Florida game 2. Similar to 2013. Sell me this pen.

I understand that's the going rate. What I'm saying is that roughly half of the G5 teams don't want to/can't afford to pay an FCS program half a mil. Some of these lower level G5 programs aren't really any better than a lot of FCS programs and a game against an FCS program isn't a "tune up" for them.

I believe FCS schools play anywhere from 80-100 games against FBS level schools each year. They probably win about 5-6 of them. Some our close but most games are 3 possession+ blowouts even against the bottom feeding G5 schools. Honestly, I see no benefit towards a National Championship playing an FCS program. You win and nobody cares, **** most people dont even show up. If you lose, your season is done, no matter how you finish.
