It was an incredibly poor decision. Our defense stinks for sure but better to put pressure on the Orange to score than merely to have to pick up first downs. Never touching the ball again was painfully predictable.
nawIt was worse than not taking a knee vs GT last year.
If you had the 85 defense 14 points would have been enough. This game was lost in the second quarter, when we started ******** around with Lyles as the RB when we were rolling with Martinez and Fletcher, two wasted chancesEven if you have the 85 Bears defense you still have to go for it. Zero upside not going for it because you still need a fkn TD
Ok, we go for it m, then what they just walked it down the field and scored againCoaching with no balls. Defense hadn't stopped them since the 1st Q, but Maria thought we could somehow stop them and score again. GT no-knee type sheeet.

so what was the downside to going for it ? Please elaborateOk, we go for it m, then what they just walked it down the field and scored again
You were chasing points the whole second halfI'd rather take that risk than chasing points with a FG.
I don't think the analytics chart accounts for having a defense as bad as we have100% context is everything.
If you have a competent defense yes it the right decision....but....that's not us.
That was it...the last opportunity you were going to get and everybody knew it except Mario.
Exactly. Analytics are based on regression and a law of averages. Our shïtty defense is beyond two standard deviations from the mean. Take all the numbers and throw them in the trash. It was plain as day what was coming. And it did.I don't think the analytics chart accounts for having a defense as bad as we have
Should’ve been sent out the door after Louisville last year. Everyone claimed look at his progress he doesn’t do stupid **** anymore and bang he does it againwhat about JG being a bone head again?
You put your balls on and go for the tie, Mario. You were chasing points the whole second half
