Is this a worst than Golden or Shannon Coaching?

I sure havent. I was a student during the golden era and I went to every home game for 4 years straight. I have literally met the man on multiple occasions at whole foods and chicken grill. This is as bad if not worse than Golden in year 3. We never lost 3 in a row to scrub teams.

The talent on the team is a bit overrated. Miami should be a bottom of the Top 25 type team. Richt makes - according to USA Today - 23rd highest salary of a HC in CFB.

Even by those two incredibly low bars...Miami under Richt...STILL underperforms.

Blows my mind how bad Miami looks.
 
The talent is terrible on the team we have no players that would start for a top team none what so ever that is not and excuse because their recruting has been awful

The talent on this team is not overrated, it's properly rated if you had the right expectations coming into the season.

I never expected to win a championship this year.....but I did expect to at least be competitive in potential losses against LSU and eventually Clemson while taking care of business against our ABOMINATION of a schedule. Our schedule is/was absolutely pathetic and we STILL have found a way to lose 4 games.

I'm sorry...but there's enough talent there NOT to lose to Virginia, BC, and Duke with any sort of competent coaching staff in place.
 
We can’t get the recipe right. It’s insane. Im just asking for one elite group and the others to be average. Elite defense with an offense and special teams that are at least serviceable. Instead we have the worst offense and special teams this program has seen. If its not the offense it’s the defense. If it’s not that then it’s special teams. Im tired of it. Im tired of the lack of urgency. Honestly I hope for an injection of optimism with an OC this offseason because If not, im not flying out to Orlando to watch THIS offense and special teams operate like this.

YUMU, have to agree mate. This beats Shannon and Golden, combined. It’s because he’s so head strong, so stubborn, yet oh so stupid all at the same time. Except for Diaz this would reach the lower of the low’s from back in the 1950’s low. We have nowhere to go from here with Richt. Mark, do the honorable thing; fall on the sword and quit.

We're getting to the point where the players on defense are going to straight give up.

You see **** like that happen all of the time. At some point, the defense is going to think whatever they are doing is futile and theyll fold up like a chair...and when that happens, you're getting your 48-0, 58-0 game.

I hope not. I think the defense plays with a lot of pride. But against GT’s option offense they might wear out if Richt cannot generate any serious drives.

Our Canes have been pushed back to the proverbial Beaches of Dunkirk but, unsurprisingly, our AD will stick with CFB's version of Neville Chamberlain until well after the battle has been lost..

My opinion of the talent doesn't really matter...but it was favored by Vegas to win every game this year in the pre-season and the line at wins was set at 10. The talent was definitely overrated by the GenPop.

Thats not absolving anything or providing any analysis outside of Miami being, probably, realistically a team that should be in the 18-25 range. For even that low bar, we've underwhelmed in a major way. 5-4, with likely another L or two comin is pretty pathetic.

Vegas ain't dumb, they are factoring in Mark Richt's incompetence at this point. Our BOT are the only ones left on the planet who refuse to admit what is painfully obvious......Georgia pulled the old Trojan Horse on us.

Whats also sad, is the options Miami was wading through and the ones that the fans were touting were some real **** choices, even in hindsight. Mullen the only one worth a **** and I am starting to just think he used us for a raise. I mean, rumors were the likes of Charlie Strong were very real.

My god, we're in a dark place as a program.
