• DT Nesta Silvera, DE Patrick Joyner, CB DJ Ivey, CB Al Blades, and DB Gurvan Hall are freshmen who will start to see an increase in playing time moving forward after impressing against Savannah State, according to defensive coordinator Manny Diaz.

And what willis said about nesta.
• Willis is excited to see how Silvera develops during the course of this season. “He has that dog in him,” Willis said. “He is a pitbull. He keeps it going. I would definitely go to war with Nesta.”

More hall hopefully means less knowles.

Yes, Please God...

Out of the starting DL I have really only been impressed with Willis and Garvin.... Get Joe Jack back to last seasons form and more Nesta and we may be in business.

If you are going to get the same production from Bethel as you would from Nesta, might as well roll the dice IMO. Only person I would like to see step up more is Ford. He could really put us in business if he takes his game to the next level.

Move bethel back to DE. Cant keep playing guys out of position. Think abt how bad donaldson looks at Tackle

I remember reading Joe Jax was up to 270 over the summer. Might be the extra weight slowing him down.

Gurvan is the future starter at safety, get him MEANINGFUL game reps now; bench knowless

@DMoney any news on frierson? He hasn’t made as much buzz as I expected him to make coming off of an impressive spring football camp

Nesta is the 2nd best DT on the team... he's better than Bethel.

Gurvan Hall needs to get all of Knowles reps.

But i'm excited about the potential of Patrick Joyner... dude is a freak, built like a brick and can move. Wearing that #52... could be the next Khalil Mack diamond in the rough.

He made some plays vs Savannah state and was probably the second best de in south Florida after Rousseau in last class him or chatfield. He had something crazy like 18 sacks last year

He needs to get more disciplined in coverage. Too boom or bust right now. Much better spring than fall camp.
Move likely to safety? With the emergence of blades at corner might be best for him with redwine and Jaquan leaving next year
