I saw that...scientific projection my a$$. No shot we go 6-6 with a soft schedule, a competent coach, and a potential first round quarterback running the show.

I don't think they adjust for coaching changes in those predictions.

If Golden were still here I'm not sure that prediction would be that unreasonable.

We're in serious danger of this if anything happens to Kaaya or any of the starting OL. Just saying.

Every team is in serious danger if all their starters get injured the first week too.

The season prediction things use to be interesting until I figured out they are just pulling everything out of their back side and don't have to own up to it when they are wrong. Its like a reset for the predictor every year. Part of that is they are all wrong every year I suppose.

Better chance of 3-9 than 9-3? Seems legit.

LoL, Miami didn't lose a player it will truly miss other than Burns and maybe Bush and Scott. Miami finished 8-4 (5-3) with an incompetent coaching staff. Just being coached competently will convert to additional wins. You've got an entire team that is lighter and in much better shape. Miami last year was being coached like a Division 2 school and it's S&C program was on par with a D2 or D3 program.

Kaaya goes down and we are lucky to win 7
Quam and Grace get suspended for the season and our ceiling is 8 wins tops.

Just not enough depth on this team right now to make up for key injuries and suspensions.

No injuries ,no suspensions we win 9+

Also, don't forget asteroids and outbreak of deadly plagues.
That would affect our wins and losses too.

How many teams are one OL injury away from a total disaster? Because we are.

Actually quite a few teams would have problems if they lost a starter or two at OL.
Not sure what your point is.

Miami is a much better defense if Muhammad and Grace play. Both should excel in this defense and have huge years. That being said both were marginally productive in a ridiculous defensive scheme last year and Miami still won 8 games.

not to mention the development of talent from year to year that is such a big part of college sports.
