You should come to this game for this reason alone

We have awful "fans". To **** non stop and never go to the games? What is the point then of being a fan? While I would love for us to have a better record, better coaching, etc., I go to support the TEAM and the PLAYERS, who are CANES.

So bottom line, the excuses are pathetic and complete bull****. If you cant go to a game to watch the Canes, support the team, and honor 3 all time greats, you dont belong on this site. Go root for FSU or UF, or better yet Champagnat. You deserve each other.

Nuff said.
LOL at these so-called fans coming up with all kinds of excuses not to show up to games, especially the local
"fans".
Pathetic fan base.

I'm a season ticket holder and I only missed a handful of home games in the last 25 years and I can understand why the casual fan won't come to games. The value is simply not there anymore. Terrible product on the field, a terrible stadium that brings a boring atmosphere and it is very expensive. They may sound like excuses to you but it is reality.

Repped for posting a collage of my personal favorite and IMO the greatest Cane of all time. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Had he not died so tragically Jerome Brown would have gone done as the best DT to have ever played the game.

At the risk of sounding like an old fart, it's such a shame that alot of you youngef fans didn't have the opportunity to see Jerome play. Jerome Brown was the very personification of Miami Hurricane swagger. To say that he was a transcendent talent as both a player and a leader would be a huge understatement. Jerome Brown was the very embodiment of what being a Miami Hurricane was all about. Dominant on the field and a fiery charismatic yet good natured leader off of it. There would be no possible way for any of our coached today to get Jerome to play pattycake with the opposing OL. Now way in ****. It makes me laugh inside just imagining what Jerome's reaction would be to being asked to play in this scheme.

There will undoubtedly be great DTs that will come though UM in the future. There will undoubtedly be great players and leaders that come through this program. I can also tell you with absolute certainty that there will never be another Jerome Brown. RIP

Here comes the shamefest from the SUPER-fans. Handing down fandom lessons on an internet message board dedicated to the Miami Hurricanes. Because it's the the type of fans dedicated enough to ***** on a message board at how disgusted they are with the program, that aren't showing--not the casual sidewalk fans, in their world. Only the height of stupid--err super fans-- believe that. I'll file that non-sense right next to UF football attendance smack. ******* chumps.

I won't shame anyone, but I will say if I lived in Miami and not in Tennessee that I would be going to every home game every year. I already try to make it out to the games around here. Was at UNC and Pitt last year. Been to Clemson and VT before too. Think I am a lucky charm as I've never witnessed a loss in person.

I'm a season ticket holder as well. Once I moved back down to Miami from Tennessee I immediately got season tickets and even purchased an extra season ticket to give away to a random fan that loves the Canes whether good or bad as much as I do. You say the product is terrible on the field yet the offense is one of the top offenses in the nation especially in yards per play but we are terrible....excuse, a terrible stadium which I agree with you but I still support and the only way to change the stadium atmosphere is for people to stop coming up with every excuse in the book and fill those seats.

When I was unemployed I still found a way to make it to games. I found free parking at the Betty T Ferguson and walked to the stadium, I made sure I ate before the games so I would be straight and I always walked in the stadium with a bottle of liq in a water bottle.
