Secondly, I'd take the Gators last decade over ours in a heartbeat. They have one less win than us and that's due to having a game cancelled due to weather. They've also had a better home schedule to draw a crowd. Yes, they're a dumpster fire the last two years, but we're certainly not all roses.

If you put together $7 ticket plus fees along with $25 parking along with water and a bite to eat your looking at $60 to watch a team at noon in the hot sun that has screamed mediocrity for the last 10 years to a fan base who is use to greatness. While that's certainly an exaggeration, movie theaters aren't doing that great these days either.

I'll be honest, if I go to a movie it's because the kids want to see something. I'm going during the cheapest time possible and any candy/drink is in a coat pocket. The only thing I'll buy besides the tickets is popcorn. Movie food and drink prices are absurd. I imagine if they were reasonably priced rather than 3-4x the normal price of things they'd sell more.

Do you super fans even attend games? Is your argument really $7 for tickets? What about the rest of the expenses that comes along to attending Football games?

Parking: $25
Tailgating: $50 Minimum
Gas: If you live in Miami I know you are using a lot of gas just to get to No Life Stadium
Tolls: I spend roughly $6-$8 a game on tolls.
Drinks/Food inside the stadium: Minimum of $20

That is roughly $100 minimum of expenses for each game and that is being extremely conservative. But yeah, going to the movies is just as expensive.
