Not only is Jim Kelly being honored but also two guys that made also made Miami who we are today. Come out and show support for Hurricane History and greatness. im so proud to come to this game and also keep watching Duke and Kayaa make History.

Former Hurricanes greats Jerome Brown and Russell Maryland are set to be added to Miami's Ring of Honor during Saturday's game against North Carolina. They will be only the 17th and 18th members of the Hurricanes' Ring of Honor.

Wow. Didnt know about the JB and RM thing..**** they are really tryna get 40k out there arent they? LOL. I respect the hustle.
 
Funny thing is there are about 10,000 members of this site, many are also duplicate posters or live out of state. Even if everyone here showed up the stadium would still be empty. Attendance is a bigger issue than a couple of non-supportive fan sites.
 
People would probably go if the team wasn't 5-3 and barely hanging on in the coastal race. You can get as sentimental as you want with Kelly, Brown, etc., but nobody gives a hoot about this team right now.

This a **** shame that we have to give people a reason to support the canes. A fan rides with his team through the good times and the bad times but even with the team improving and having a shot at the coastal many of yall on here still find the most smallest thing to ***** about and use that as your excuse to not go to a game. If you cannot make the games because of distance that's understandable but finances shouldn't even be a problem as tickets are going as low as $7 so that's no excuse. I peep how things go on this board and all I see is a hate session going for AG regardless is he wins or loses yall will hate. **** could be far worse.......we could be the Florida Gators
 
Jerome Brown..... If he was on this team one of 2 things would happen, 1- we'd be undefeated or the most likely 2- He would transfer or be kicked off the team

Two things....

First, you can say $7 until you're blue in the face, but that's not the cost to attend a game. You're looking at a minimum of $50 once you include gas to get there, parking, and food or beverage just to stay hydrated / fed.

Secondly, I'd take the Gators last decade over ours in a heartbeat. They have one less win than us and that's due to having a game cancelled due to weather. They've also had a better home schedule to draw a crowd. Yes, they're a dumpster fire the last two years, but we're certainly not all roses.
 
UF has won two national championships since 2006. Are we really comparing ourselves to them?

How would you evaluate their athletic department's commitment to winning football games compared to ours?
