Triple LULZ if you don't think Michigan fans are going nuts over Hoke. In fact, he's had more success at Michigan than Greaseball has had here, yet he's always mentioned on every college football show as being on the hot seat while they never mention Greaseball. Where do you think that hot seat buzz is flowing from?

Maybe because the shows have sensible people that understand Hoke walked into a perfect situation while Golden hasn't.

**** you talking about, Hoke won a BCS game with Denard Robinson running a pro style offense.

Serious question, has their AD tripped over himself rushing to Hokes side like our AD has for golden?

So now that he has his style of player, his team sucks. But when he had to force a guy into the wrong system, he won a ton of games. Yeah, top-notch coach. Sign us up.

No. And because some nutty poster said Michigan fans are classy that automatically means they are. The same Michigan fans who throw marshmallows with nuts and bolts in them at opposing players.

This dude is daft if he thinks Michigan fans won't do whatever they have to do to get Hoke out. They'll get billboards. They'll do whatever they have to do.

Remember the Millen March to get rid of Matt Millen? You think the same people who root for the Lions don't also root for Michigan? Or do you think they're importing their tuxedo wearing fans from Oxford, England?

I'd say Big 10 = ACC, with the scale tipping a little more towards ACC.

ACC has a team that just won a title and is a contender for the next one. As well as a few possible dark horse teams (VT, Louisville).

Big 10 doesn't appear to have anyone unless Michigan St wins out convincingly and squeaks in.

Stop making sense. Michigan fans derided Gary Moeller and **** Rodriguez until their AD fired all of those guys. They will do the same thing this year when Brady Hoke loses to ND, State and O*U this year. The wine and prawn crowd in South Florida won't know about it because they will be too busy pontificating about what UM fans should do while wrapped in the protective cocoon of their own blissful ignorance of being 1000 miles away from bucolic Michigan.

Edit: Loyd Carr resigned, but he felt massive heat.

I would argue they wanted too long. At least on Carr.

Exactly. LULZ at the saps on here accepting the nutty OP's ridiculous premise that Michigan fans are sitting there twirling their white glove covered thumbs and peering through their monocles at the Wall Street Journal while hoping the AD does the right thing with Hoke. None of them are spewing hate on local radio shows our blogging about wanting Hoke gone.

Do they realize that the metro Detroit area comprises the bulk of Michigan's fan base? Those people aren't concerned with a classy approach when they want a coach gone.

Here is a photograph of some Lions' fans on their way to a symposium to discuss the works of Nietzsche and Kant.

Carr was a Michigan man to the core. A Schembechler guy. He won a NC. And they still ran him off.

Who said anything about him being a top notch coach? Quit making **** up. My only point is Hoke didn't walk into a perfect situation like KlanAlmighty suggested.

We are better than the Big 10. Our best team would beat their best team. VT just beat Ohio St in Columbus. I think Wake Forest beats their bad teams. They picked up Maryland and Rutgers, we just got Louisville.

Hoke didn't walk into a perfect situation by any stretch...but it was better than the one AG walked in to.

You must be mistaken, good chap. Those can't be football fans in Michigan. I see no top hats or finger sandwiches.

I don't understand the point of this thread. So because Michigan fans are okay with underachieving, we should be satisfied with mediocrity and perpetual disappointment?

It took the molesting of boys to get Paterno out of Penn St, because all the fans ****ing loves that sideline ****ting geriatric. If you think Hoke isn't getting fired, and Rodriguez before him, based off of heat from the fans/alums then you are beyond ignorant. They seem to take different channels.

You want people from South Florida to act like Northerners from blue-blood trust fund Michigan? I'm not saying Florida or South Floridians are low-class, just a different way of doing things. Good luck with that.

Miami has fans beyond the 20 or so loud mouths on this site? Couldnt tell from the stadium attendance year in and year out.
