You know Bama will make a run after Mario once they fire DeBoer next season

Read my initial post in this thread.
He can be high on bama's list and ya'll can try but i guarantee you Mario would never leave Miami for another cfb program. Heck I don't think the nfl would even interest him tbh. It's not a bama thing - Mario LOVES his alma mater and no amount of money will make him bail on Miami.

He's honestly a lifer as long as he has a job in Miami.

If DeBoer misses the playoffs again next season, he’s finished. Big buyouts don’t save anyone anymore—ask around. Mario runs the exact offensive and defensive style Bama desperately needs right now, and he’s positioned to be one of the hottest names on the coaching market after this season. I’m not saying Alabama will definitely land him, but he’ll be high on their list if things go south.
Ok this is your initial post. Mario can be #1 on their list but he is not leaving Miami. Not for Alabama not for anyone. He wants to not only take this team to a title game but to win it and put this program in position where we are competing for Conference and National titles on a yearly basis. Mario wants to keep stacking talent and be a fixture in the playoffs for years to come. Mario was born and raised here. Mario eats, drinks, breaths and chits Miami Hurricanes Football. This means more to him than it would to any other coach. He wants to be the last coach this program has until he can't do it anymore! Mario is Miami. Now does that mean he won't leverage success into an even better contract? No of course not but he isn't going anywhere ever!
