They won’t ever have more talent than Miami but that doesn’t even matter anymore. It doesn’t matter who we play, we have to do better on game day period
What's sad is you dont have to have more talent to beat Miami these days.

We have a(nother) loser HC, who practices like **** and who no one on the team respects or fears.

North Carolina is loading up on talent with Mack Brown, they are going to run the division if Miami doesnt get their ish together. They're putting together a nice class in the trenches this cycle.
Dont matter many still wiol have a better class aint no way we should lose to north carolina, duke or any other acc coastal team but we always do

ACC College Team Talent per 247.... As you can see talent isn't an issue, there's a large gap between us and most of the acc. It's our coaching that sucks

We need to go white at QB, big & black on the OL:

Top 8: Donaldson, Scaife, Clark, Zion, Campbell, Rivers, Reed, Traore

Reserves: Gaynor, Herbert, Hillery, Dykstra, Washington, Elgammal

False bravado. Bateman won’t be there long. Somebody will steal him soon. I don’t think Longo will be there long either. He’s got a great track record and I could easily see Helton giving him a call when Harrell goes to Texas. Mack is also on borrowed time. He won’t be there in 5 years.

The other programs will have blips up and down. I don't know why anyone cares. Their core talent level remains in the same range. Overreacting on the high end is equally dense as all the posters who looked at last year's supposed specifics and proclaimed the ACC Coastal was in chaos and ours for the taking

As always, properly applied generalities will overwhelm specifics

Miami needs to boost its recruiting average from 16 to let's say 8. Not one year of 8. Multiple years in that range. At 16 there is low margin for error but sustain 8 and now you are theoretically talking about an extra touchdown per game. That is massive. The close games increasingly fall your way.

Let's see, the gap between 16 and 8 is basically 2 special players...those high 4 or elusive 5 star recruits. That's what the Canes are missing, 2 elite players per crop. If you do it only once like 2018 then it's fragile as ****. Anything can happen to those 2 elite players, as we've seen with Lingard. But once you stack premier classes on top of each other then your margin swells to 8 difference making players instead of 2. That is exactly what LSU is enjoying right now. They were eligible for a sudden uptick because they have been compiling those elite classes year after year.

First, grow up it's fcking UNC. I don't care what they ever do, they won't be scary. Second, who cares? Seriously, who gives a sht what they do? It's fcking Mack Brown, and you're quaking in your boots?

I guess that was really just the one thing. Who cares?
That's the sad part. Agreed they'll never be scary. Just imagine if they were though with how often we already lose to them as is... keep thinking back brown is ****. I'll take mack brown over mandy.

How to win at Miami in the 2020's is simple
-Get the Best QB from SF - IE last 10 years Jacory, Cato, Bridgewater, Jackson -:mad:
-Get SF WRs and RBs -Check but slipping lately
-Build D-line and Secondary -Almost There
-Play aggressive SF style attacking Defense -Check Minus the Gimmicks
-Run Spread offense that these kids been playing in all their lives -:mad:

I don't understand why our OC's keep trying to fit square pegs in circle holes SMH
Miami was never a brute strength program we beat people using our IQ, quickness, aggression, and athleticism.
A mobile QB and spread scheme allows us to get the most out of our players on offense and masks the deficiencies of our O-line until we get better

Talent apparently only take you so far (right about 6-6). Well coached teams seem to be our kryptonite. Coaching and a lack of an offensive line negate our talented skill positions.
