You Don't Deserve to Be a Canes fan If:

In every contest, someone loses. It matters how you lose. If all you do is sh*t on your guys, no matter how they lose, you will eventually dishearten them, instead of build them up. HOW YOU LOSE MATTERS.

Dog, that's a loser's mentality. How u lose matter?? Are u kidding me? This amazes me..."if we all we do is sh*t on your guys, u will eventually dishearten them"....that's the most soft shoulder chump ish I've ever read in my life. U know what disheartens an athlete? Losing. That's what disheartening.

Don't know what type of work u do, but I'm pretty sure if u had a job in which goals were involved and u kept coming up short....I'm fairly certain ur mgr is not going to say "hey guy, u Always come up short on ur goals, but it's quite alright." Get out here w/ that type of soft shouldered bull.

Tell that to Gus after the Cormier or Bones Jones fight. HOW YOU LOSE MATTERS. Read the twitter responses to Gus after his fight by other fighter. Go tell them they are pathetic for giving him props on a good fight.

Lol...r u really comparing UFC fighting to college football? Just so u know, I train w MMA fighters all the time; ur comparing apples and watermelons. When u fight someone, u have their blood on u, their sweat on u....there's going to be a mutual respect involved. Win or lose, regardless u were a man for stepping into the ring.

We're talking football. We lost the same way last year as we did this year, just flipped scripts. Maybe, just maybe a could agree w u if this was Golden's first year...but what we saw was a bunch of 4 and 3 yr system players get their hearts ripped out again by bad game planning. 5 yrs, same result...a L. I sure didn't see any kids jumping up and down thinking this was a good loss.

1) sounds like apples to apples to me. Don't let your hatred blind you to reality.

2) They didn't lose the same way they always do. That was the point of my post. The kids were engaged and in the fight all the way to the end. They even had a real chance to beat a better team. On coaching, if nothing else, they made 2nd half adjustments that saw us getting more qb pressure. Yes Golden still needs to go, but yesterday was a good game.

How is MMA and football the same? Dude, seriously don't respond. I'm done. Don't let naivety blind u.

Have u played football? Have u battled, sparred in MMA? I've done both. One is a team sport, and one is an individual joust. There is absolutely no comparison to football and MMA. The training is different, the scheme is different, the mentality is different. Your comparison is off and its not even funny. How u lose in MMA makes perfect sense b/c it's an individual sport. The fact that u are even able to make it out the ring w consciousness is a victory in itself, win or lose. Thats y it's big ups to another fighter.

Football, team sports, there are some moral victories, but not for a program that's in a 10+ yr drought and have lost 6 in a row to a chump rival. Miss me w that comparison, homie.

.....you considered tonight a "good loss" or "progress".

People who think this was a "Good loss" or anything of that sort are people that go through life accepting everything their masters tell them. They are told that this is "the new U", and shrug their charmin soft shoulders and say "oh well, hanging with FSU for a bit is great for the new U, you can't really expect much more"!

These type of people are the followers. The suckers, who do everything their teacher told them, who never talked back, and who go through life letting people fvck them in the ****, as long as that person is polite about it.

I don't want to cheer with you people, bc you are the reason why mediocrity continues: you accept it. And I am truly ASHAMED to be considered a fan of this team alongside the like of you.

You don't deserve to be a canes fan if you can't support/cheer for the kids after they played their hearts out, regardless of who the coach is. I am truly ashamed to be considered a fan of ANY team alongside the likes of you.

It's not, and has never been, about the kids, or last night's game. The kids don't run the program. This is about 12 years of continuing/ongoing/ad nauseum INCOMPETENCE.

The kids DID play hard, but to no avail. The graduating seniors will never know what it feels like to beat the Semenholes. Fraulden's new-age football is NEVER going to be better than MEDIOCRE. Yet, the BOT/AD is happy with that standard, as are the SLURPING ENABLERS of the fan base.

The kids now merely serve as yet another excuse to prop up the INCOMPETENCE.

We have players on our team who were in 6th grade the last time we beat FSU. Take that fact and jam it in your piehole, nocent.

We lost to
Cincinnati and gave up 23 points in 8 minutes then someone wants to call a loss to FSU a " good loss" GTFOH
After finishing 6-7 last year.... Wtf

In the history of championships nobody even made it to the top by piling up "good losses".

What saddens me is this loss didn't even hurt. I had no illusion that they would perform the miracle of not coaching themselves to a loss. We clearly have the more talented team. When unshackled our defense was fairly dominant. Just enough to prove the talent level despite the fetters. Soon we will be unburdened of these coaches and I losses like this will hurt.

I'm numb.

I care about the kids.

There is no "good" loss there is just the glimmer of hope that this will all be righted and soon.

Can we stop with all this slurpers. These "tell me why you slurpers support golden". No fan supports Golden. Stop trying to pump yourself up by calling out these fictional fans. These threads are ******* stupid

There's an amazing HBO real sports you should watch. It's about "trophy culture". The general idea of it is that if every kid gets a trophy, even the 1-15 loser team, that you are doing them a MASSIVE disservice.

Such is the case here. I have not trashed a single player. And have no intentions of doing so. I love our players.

But I'm NOT going to sit here and tell them "good loss guys!" b/c ultimately doing so IS BAD FOR THEM.

In every contest, someone loses. It matters how you lose. If all you do is sh*t on your guys, no matter how they lose, you will eventually dishearten them, instead of build them up. HOW YOU LOSE MATTERS.

You possess the intelligence of raw lumber.

This isn[t about calling out slurpers. It's about not accepting the state of our program. I will never be caught dead being "ok with losing the FSU as long as it looks good".....I will NEVER be ok with being a middle of the road team. NEVER. And i will **** on the BOT and Admin as much as I can until they make some goddam changes.

I didn't accept this loss at all. Win out the coastal. See Florida State in the ACC Championship and pray for the best. Our lack of depth at lb killed us. Plus lack of a run game. Just shows we need to get those kids like Dalvin Cook and keep him in Miami. Al Golden will be gone at the end of the year winning the coastal. As well also if he wins the coastal and wins our bowl game. His time in Coral Gables is far over due!
