.....you considered tonight a "good loss" or "progress".

People who think this was a "Good loss" or anything of that sort are people that go through life accepting everything their masters tell them. They are told that this is "the new U", and shrug their charmin soft shoulders and say "oh well, hanging with FSU for a bit is great for the new U, you can't really expect much more"!

These type of people are the followers. The suckers, who do everything their teacher told them, who never talked back, and who go through life letting people fvck them in the ****, as long as that person is polite about it.

I don't want to cheer with you people, bc you are the reason why mediocrity continues: you accept it. And I am truly ASHAMED to be considered a fan of this team alongside the like of you.

This kind of fan is what these chit birds on the BOT want now: Expect nothing, get nothing, but.....we still want your $$$$$$!

You don't deserve to be a canes fan if you can't support/cheer for the kids after they played their hearts out, regardless of who the coach is. I am truly ashamed to be considered a fan of ANY team alongside the likes of you.

Like my boy's uncle use to tell me when we played dominoes, "whether I win by one or win by 100, regardless I whooped dat ***!...ain't no good losses."

Whether we lost by 1 or 100 we got our butts kicked again. This time we had the lead w/ momentum and found a way to let one RUNNING BACK who was 85% beat us. We even had the ball, w an opportunity to win the game. We had an opportunity for Kaaya to be a clutch QB and have a signature win. We had an opportunity for Golden to have a signature victory as a coach for the first time; and w the cameras and bright lights solely upon him and this team....they folded.

Ain't no moral victories for you when ur a traditional power; moral victories are for the Temples, the Washington States, the Utah States of the world....not Miami.

There's an amazing HBO real sports you should watch. It's about "trophy culture". EDIT here:
HBO's Real Sports Looks Into America's "Trophy Culture" | The Daily Caller

The general idea of it is that if every kid gets a trophy, even the 1-15 loser team, that you are doing them a MASSIVE disservice.

Such is the case here. I have not trashed a single player. And have no intentions of doing so. I love our players.

But I'm NOT going to sit here and tell them "good loss guys!" b/c ultimately doing so IS BAD FOR THEM.

In every contest, someone loses. It matters how you lose. If all you do is sh*t on your guys, no matter how they lose, you will eventually dishearten them, instead of build them up. HOW YOU LOSE MATTERS.

No one is ****ting on our guys. I'm not starting threads saying "Brad Kaaya is a loser". People who do are equally as retarded. These kids are all screwed until a real coach gets here.

But to commend a LOSS is just pathetic. I honestly believe part of WHY this team loses so much is b/c they are constantly told that losses don't matter. Case and point: "Snickers"

Besides w Avatar, I can care less for this post.

Fans like u kill me, ; better yet, u kill the program. Aren't u tired of seeing our kids play their heart out only to settle for "moral victories?" Did they look happy for a "moral victory?" This is year 5...not one, not 2...year 5. FSU left points off the board. They played their worst game, not cashing in on red zone after red zone opportunities, and we didn't take advantage of the gift they were trying to give us, a win. Aren't u tired of seeing that?

So no, we're not rooting against or jeering our kids...WE WANT BETTER! We want better for our kids so we're rooting against the admin and coaches have ruined my team, our team. Most fans here have followed the Canes for many years, if not several decades. For most here, we're more passionate about the Canes than our pro football team. We're not standing for this bull crap anymore and we're not accepting "moral victories" anymore. Remember the name C-A-N-E-S not T-E-M-P-L-E South.

**** it man, pick a thread.

"But to commend a LOSS is just pathetic."
Tell that to Gus after the Cormier or Bones Jones fight. HOW YOU LOSE MATTERS. Read the twitter responses to Gus after his fight by other fighter. Go tell them they are pathetic for giving him props on a good fight.

Dog, that's a loser's mentality. How u lose matter?? Are u kidding me? This amazes me..."if we all we do is sh*t on your guys, u will eventually dishearten them"....that's the most soft shoulder chump ish I've ever read in my life. U know what disheartens an athlete? Losing. That's what disheartening.

Don't know what type of work u do, but I'm pretty sure if u had a job in which goals were involved and u kept coming up short....I'm fairly certain ur mgr is not going to say "hey guy, u Always come up short on ur goals, but it's quite alright." Get out here w/ that type of soft shouldered bull.

Vs

Now

Which is worse?

Now. Why? B/c at least during those times, we won the Big East and we were dealing w heavy, HEAVY sanction and we went undefeated in Bowl Games.

Now? We play in the worst subdivision out of the power 5 conferences, have the best recruited classes in our division yet come up short every year as underachievers.

Lol...r u really comparing UFC fighting to college football? Just so u know, I train w MMA fighters all the time; ur comparing apples and watermelons. When u fight someone, u have their blood on u, their sweat on u....there's going to be a mutual respect involved. Win or lose, regardless u were a man for stepping into the ring.

We're talking football. We lost the same way last year as we did this year, just flipped scripts. Maybe, just maybe a could agree w u if this was Golden's first year...but what we saw was a bunch of 4 and 3 yr system players get their hearts ripped out again by bad game planning. 5 yrs, same result...a L. I sure didn't see any kids jumping up and down thinking this was a good loss.

You hafta be a troll. Either that or a soccer mom. How you lose? Nah that don't mean ****. ALL we want is for a coach to put our guys in positions to ATTACK and be used properly. That is it. We all realize losses will happen, nobody here thinks were gonna run the table year in & year our. WE want a coach who we can say " He put us in every single position to win"

1) sounds like apples to apples to me. Don't let your hatred blind you to reality.

2) They didn't lose the same way they always do. That was the point of my post. The kids were engaged and in the fight all the way to the end. They even had a real chance to beat a better team. On coaching, if nothing else, they made 2nd half adjustments that saw us getting more qb pressure. Yes Golden still needs to go, but yesterday was a good game.
