Not the a Big East......not the Big East. In all of college football. People remember who he made his agent that last year at Miami right? Right! People remember him flirting with Bama or the Texans right? Right! Like Paul said if he had no intentions of leaving like he claimed, why was he so worried about the buyout and used that as a reason why he didn't sign the contract. **** Paul even called his bluff and told him that they'd give him a pot of gold if the school fired him and in turn he had to give the school a rainbow if he left. If he had no intentions of leaving why not take that. The school was going to pay him more than everyone except a couple dudes that had already won MNC but the NFL was willing to pay him a lot more than that.

Where the real canes at that will call a spade a spade like @The Franchise and stop the **** duck tales. The only thing I hate worse than people who spin the narrative that Miami can't pay with the big boys (whether they chose to is a different story), is peeps who try to absolve Butch of any blame in why he left. Everyone's goal is to take care of themselves and their family and I can't hate on dude for taking the kings ransom that Cleveland was willing to pay him. But for the love of god stop trying to act like the school didn't want to pay Butch and that's why he left. This administration has ****ed up alot over the years but willingness to pay Butch...that ain't it.

Butch isn't vilified. We just have to give the fools that still beg for him in 2019 a dose of reality. If people were still calling for Jimmy or Howard then we'd say the same thing. Personally, Butch was my favorite coach but his time has passed. He isn't doing anything special against lower competition in 2019

No one villifes Butch for what he did here nitwit. Everyone knows and appreciates it.

People vilify him for being a weasel and trying to flip the script and make himself into some type of victim.

The dude had a deal in place here. He didn't like the buyout and blew town for more cash to Cleveland, a team he was secretly negotiating with and lying about.

I had zero problems with it then and zero problems with it now. But for ****'s sake when does the lying end with him.
 
Butch Davis doesn’t want to be at FIU. That dude is all Miami. It would be like an adrenaline shot if he had gotten the Miami job instead of a third rate Temple hire. He is going through the motions. He probably wishes he would have accepted the sh**y offer the troll gave him instead of going after the money he actually DESERVED. I would have also. F*** that sh*** administration and athletic department. And yes, that is what Miami has. It’s been that was for a while. We just got lucky with the coaches before Coker. Now colleges are paying big money for coaches.

What the $$$$. If you are given a knife to cut down a tree and then given a saw to cut down a tree, what do you think would be the better result? Yes, i am asking a simpleton question because that’s what is required with some of you. Miami is the better option. Better tools. He has nothing at FIU and his heart isn’t there. He is the same age as Nick Saban. He had to see our awful admin hire “Manolo” and the funky bunch

Nobody’s expecting Butch to compete for the Natty. But if he can’t win his C-USA division he won’t win the ACC Coastal. I repeat: the C-USA has been won by Lane coming off a 3-9 season and it’s been won by UAB two years after not having a football team. Butch is washed.

its not getting Franchise, anyone that’s not a glue sniffer, has a Butch rainbow up their *** or wasn’t still playing playing toys when all this went down so they just believe anything can confirm Butch and the school were good on money. **** even you weren’t around you could do a **** google search and find direct quotes from Butch confirming money was never an issue with him and Miami in his contract extension. His issue or rather excuse was the buyout if Paul gave him a small buyout Butch would have signed the contract extension.......and still f’in left when Cleveland was willing to double what Miami was going to pay him. which again was the top rate for college coaches at the time. You make yourself look stupid by continuing to keep spouting otherwise with no proof.
