Rewatch the game, fools. Corey Flagg can fūcking play. That was a cotdam true freshman out there that probably some of the time wasn’t sure what the call was. If you can’t tell he’s got that dog in him, that he can play, I don’t know what to tell you, you don’t know how to watch football.

He looks real smart I don't think he's like super gifted but he just plays smart. I don't like to use high IQ cause I feel that it's a bit more then knowing plays....he just knows what to do or how to force someone torward a help defender so they can make the stop or clog the right hole. He looked good in spots today was real surprised.....I just didn't like his speed in HS and that all the texas schools bypassed him. That's weird to me...it's not like he's a problem kid like the T2 rumors.

Follow the tape he was an insanely hyper active producer at a huge HS in Texas. Might not have great measureables but as soon as the ball is snapped he knows where he's going makes up for the slower speed.

I've said it for years. People get so caught up in straight line speed and athleticism that they don't look at actual production. You take a LB that can run a 4.4 40, but can't diagnose a play or is slow in making a decision and you'll see a guy that takes himself out of plays. I'll take a 4.7 guy all day every day if they know what the **** they are doing out there and can be in the right place at the right time.

I used to joke about Zach Thomas being slow, but it didn't matter. He could stand still, but know the ball was coming right to him and he'd make a play. Some guys just know how to play, and will make far more plays than those with speed that only use their speed to go the wrong way really fast.
