Hope we get into the playoffs & believe our case is strong. That said, it would be fitting if we got squeezed out by quasi member ND. Perfect, the ACC ends up without a team and a huge financial loss.
Why? Because our methodology somehow extends an invite to the worst of five second place teams, in fact a 5/loss team that the CFP tells us wont qualify even if it wins the conference championship game.
So, we end up with the equivalent of two P5 teams in a pillow fight in Charlotte, cold weather (only one of the big conferences not in a dome) & slew of empty seats. Cameras pan multiple times to two James Madison fans, alone in an empty section, downing beers. What a ******* conference.
Maybe this is the slap in the face folks have been begging for.

Just happy Duke winning cost the conference a ton of money. Last year they had 2 teams make money, which was a miracle. Theses clown thought the same thing would happen every year. By ******* miami they ended up with ZERO $$$$$ and being an embarrassment to a P 4 conference.

Someone already said it. ACC lost so much money tonight. Half empty stadium for a conference championship, that's crazy. IF miami don't make it, ACC is left out of the CFP and the negativity brought the the conference. Money lost for the conference. It all starts with the incompetence of the commissioner to allow this chaos. The horrible refs the acc has. The lack of support the league has for their own. I could go on and on.
